I love this store! I just went out to the Ajax location and spent $33. Here is what I got:

    Cavendish Farms Rustic Reds $1.97
Omelette mix, 1 kg, $2.97 (chopped onions, green and red peppers)
    Sliced mushrooms, 1 kg, $3.97
    Sliced peaches, 1 kg, $4.97
    Yves Veggie Meatballs, $4.97
Yves Veggie Bistro chicken veggieburgers, $2.97
    Sour cherries, 1 kg, $6.99
    Yves veggie bacon, $1.77
    Cheddar pierogies, 1 kg, $1.99
    Twizzlers, .79

Yesterday I was thinking my freezer was looking empty but between my cat's food and this, not anymore!

Here is the link to their stores: http://www.almostperfect.ca/. They are opening up more and more of them but only have one in Toronto, the rest are further east.

I guess it's the same with me, I know so many people who are grossed out by vegetables but eat animal flesh. Yuck!

The store is amazing. They have tons of meat, chicken, fish, baked goods etc. Also cereals and stuff like that. A lot of it is near the expiry date or they freeze it just before the expiry date.

OP, good price for 1 kg of cherries. May even be better than Costco's price for 600g of cherries.

I love Almost perfect, but have noticed that their prices have gone up a little.
My bf and I would go there a lot for their 1kg frozen faux meats, but they haven't been carrying them.
We do, however love the Yves Chick'n burgers. :D

LOVE this store... half of the store is usually not great but the other half is! yesterday we got 3 of this organic bbq sauce we usually pay 8 bucks for (its worth it!) at the healthfood store. Paid 97c each! Also got some organic seaweed rice cakes for my son(the brand we buy) less than half price and a big box of 16 bagelfulls for 4 bucks!

I like it because it's so eclectic. You always find something you need. I already got into the peaches and sour cherries (smoothie) and last night the potatoes, mushrooms and omelette mix. I wish it was closer to home but there's not much I can do about it!

I love that store. At Christmas, I got boxes of Bigelow Seasonal teas for $1 a box. Delicious. I kept some for myself and gave some to the food bank. Thought the teas would be a nice treat for someone.

I live in NB but we are going to Lindsay to a wedding this August. I already pinged my sister to tell her we had to take a trip. Looks interesting and I am always up for a bargain.
