Procter & Gamble has completed its $2.7 billion sale of Pringles to the Kellogg Co. P&G sold its only food product, and Kellogg gets another snack product.

I like it when there are more companies that can compete. I don't like one company holds all the products.

I guess they are part of Kraft and Kellogg corp's oligopoly on convenience foods now. Pringles was a bit of an odd fit for P&G as most of their products are personal care ones, not foodstuffs. Then again, the same company (Unilever) makes my deodorant and my margarine, so I guess that's not too unusual. Pringles aren't bad (I do eat them on occasion), but they always make me think that they will last forever sealed inside their little can... a little potato chip time capsule
