Hope everyone enjoyed their day.
Had fun at Kim's Convenience this afternoon, such a great show. This evening, I took the short one for an outing - I snuck him into the office - the folks there needed a bit of stress relief. One of the VIPS happened by - his response was "Hey, a cat". Luckily, he was too shocked to be annoyed.
Better make it up to the brats - Lily dog is in need of a good wander (before the rains return & her toes get wet) & Quincy cat is begging for another taste of catnip from my friend's garden.
Night all.

Hubby hijacked my laptop all week-end....
Kim Mitchell and his band are just starting their show at the "Just add water festival" with "Lager and Ale"... our friends were on their way over to pick us up in their pontoon boat to watch the show and it started pouring, so they turned around and went back to their cottage... I was thinking of taking the kayak out, but I didn't want to get soaked again.... (we weren't spending $30.00 each to see KM )
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend
I'm trying to catch up on reps!!!

CARDIOLOGIST'S FUNERAL
A very prestigious cardiologist died, and was given a very elaborate funeral by the hospital he worked for most of his life...
A huge heart.... covered in flowers stood behind the casket during the service as all the doctors from the hospital sat in awe.
Following the eulogy, the heart opened, and the casket rolled inside. The heart then closed, sealing the doctor in the beautiful heart forever.
At that point, one of the mourners just burst into laughter. When all eyes stared at him, he said, 'I'm so sorry... I was just thinking of my own funeral...I'm a
Gynecologist!'The priest fainted!

Was up early and out for the day taking my annual recertification. I'm now a bona fide Registered BioEnergetics Practitioner - the Govt no longer allows the designation of Hollistic Allergist. Was an interesting day. Didn't hear about Eaton Centre shooting until mid-evening and freaked out as my eldest works there. I was relieved when she answered her phone to find she'd left minutes before and was obliviousto the event. Phew is my understatement.

Saturday night on the "Q" thread, it’s Loocie reporting for roll call,
You can sign in wearing your jammies or if you wish not at stitch at all,
I was looking at pictures today, & thought of places I’d been,
Some of the goofy things I did long ago when I was just a teen,
It’s a good time to clear my conscience of a sneaky prank I participated in,
It was done with a gaggle of gals & it may have involved Gilbeys Gin,
There was a guy that we all lusted for, who drove a TR 6,
But, he never had the time of day for a giggling bunch of chicks,
We’re talking a black convertible that he drove with such finesse,
How he could have afforded such a car was anybody’s guess,
Well, to cut to the chase of the story that happened after dark,
It was when we came upon his car parked on the street beside the park,
We had 3 gigantic bags of popcorn that were nearly as tall as us,
So we emptied them into his car, just to cause a little fuss,
He apparently was ticked off that someone would do such a thing?
Looking back it must have been the beckoning fever of spring,
So Larry, if you’re reading this I’m fessing up after all these years,
& you know that when a girl is sweet on you, she will give you the gears,
I hear you married & had 3 daughters & hope that life has been good to you,
& I guess that you have gathered that girls can be naughty too!
