So I have been wearing my hair up in a pony tail or bun for the past month and decided it was time to spruce it up. Last night I washed it using my free Pantene of course and I went to straighten it this morning only to find long grey hairs - Yikes - I have thick black Italian hair so they stood out like crazy!!!

So glad I have managed to add some haircolour too my stock thru stacks and sales - Off I go to cover these greys!!!
How do those darn things get so long and stringy so fast - Geesh!!

Oh no!!! The Queen will surely need to blame someone for this.....try shouting " OFF With Her Head ! " or something like that to anyone who is near.
Eventually the greys invade us all. Good luck.

Really red heads don't go grey? So lucky - I'm gonna be one of those old Italian ladies one day with purple hair lol hopefully I can find a good dye to keep me going til then - The sublime mousse just did the trick!! Thanks L'oreal.

oh dear. I have started with L'Oreal Ferria. It's nice color, but doesn't actually seem to cover grey very well. I found one hair that was half dyed, half not! WTF? I did it right and box says 100% grey coverage. Now what? I have light/med brown hair and I do not believe in leaving it natural for me. I will not age gracefully, I will fight it every step of the way.

I plan on going grey gracefully...no hair dyes for me. I named all three of my white hairs after my three children...earned every one.

I'm with marstec. I don't dye my grey hair, I earned every one of 'em!
I have more than I could name though.

im right there with ya on the grey.. been since i was 15.. about cough30yearscough. i've tried every product out there.. when my hair was shorter i used "ice cream' sold at SDM. in a tube. lots of 'simple' colors. and combined with the white liquid it goes on easily. smells kinda nice. it covers well but only lasts about a month or so...I recently hurt my back so i decided to have my hair stylist do my hair.. i went darky/purple/plum.. it looks awesome. im normally a mousy brown but it looks good. im getting mine done again in a few weeks.. as i now have the skunk line down the middle when I put mine up. its now past my shoulders.

Oh I feel your pain! I found my first gray hair when I was 23 and I'm 28 now with a head full of them! It's awful! They're so wirey and stick up all the time. I got a friend of mine to highlight my hair so they blend in a bit better.. I don't mind growing old gracefully, but being completely gray at 29 is not yet old enough to go gracefully!
