Get some rest and try not to think too much about it. As you know we worry most of the time for nothing. Hope everything turns well for you.

Well, not pregnant. And everything else came back fine in my bloodwork so he thinks maybe I just have some kind of virus. He said if it doesn't go away in a few weeks to come back.
How insane is it that I actually felt a twinge of sadness when he said not pregnant? This would be the worst possible timing and my family would probably never speak to me again. I guess my life plan has changed so much, I figured by this point in my life I would be married, happy, and pregnant. I wanted to have my first baby before 30. Well i'm 29 now and divorced. I guess life doesn't quite turn out the way we thought it would. Oh well, things happen for a reason. Thanks for the SC support

Ah wimbly, life is almost always not what you expect - at least for me. I'm also 29 and divorced but now together with a great guy after taking the time to lick my wounds and get through the mess that was my life post-separation. I got married and divorced very young (18 at marriage, 22 at separation and 26 when the actual final divorce papers went through). Things work out in strange and unexpected ways; you never know what the next few years will bring! *hugs*

I dont believe pregnancy would have kicked in full effect in a week. The symptoms of the morning after pill are pretty hefty (have taken it before myself) and even I didnt feel 100% for a while after taking it.
Now on my 1st child, she is 18 months, but when I found out I was pregnant I didn`t feel symptoms until I was about 2 months pregnant, morning sickness, vomiting, dizziness. I would wait it out personally, and take a blood test in 3 weeks.

I'm having such a rough go lately and I can't seem to pull myself up at all. BF is insanely worried about me. The past 8 months have been rough. I finally got the courage to leave my marriage, to my entire families objections. They told me I was insane, that I was ruining my life. MY mother didn't seem to care that I was miserable, she seemed more concerned with what everyone would think. She actually "disowned" me several times throughout this process. So our relationship has been strained ever since.
I feel guilty for leaving my ex. I have major guilt issues. When I think of him alone in the house I feel responsible and I don't know how to let go of that guilt. I still care about him as a friends, I just wasn't in love with him anymore, so it makes it really difficult.
And then a few weeks back i lost my job. So on top of everything I have no income and am slowly starting to loose my mind each day. I've really plummeted to the bottom and am having a hard time finding my way out of this.
I had a good cry last night with BF talking about all of this. He tells me I need to learn to let go of some of this guilt and to accept the fact that my ex failed me and that I deserve to be happy. I just feel a little lost in life right now. I have no idea what I want. Ugh. Well that's my rant for today....off to stare at my walls for another day...

I was going to add that the morning after pill is more effective the earier you take it. I think it's higher than 89% if taken within 24hrs.
I totally get that twinge when it comes up negative. You start making plans for worse case scenario and are a little sad when you realize it isn't happening. But it will one day.

although our situations were very different (my ex left me) i can say that it took both him and i a very long time to feel normal again. it is a huge emotional rollercoaster up and down and every which way especially if you have been together a long time and most definitely if you dont have your family support.
hang in there your life will level itself at some point
