If it's war you want aloha ......it's war you'll have.
Or we could just kiss and make up.
For a price of course!

P.S.:
I also cornered the maket in BHA and BHT (E320) this week.
So now everyone will be paying more for the chemicals
they don't want in their food.
followed by more nefarious laughter......

evening Q sters,
HAPPY THIRSTY THURSDAY/FRIDAY JR!
another fabulous day, not as warm as the past few, but still great. today i took it easy. had physio this morning on my wrist. i overdid it yesterday, so today i did some gardening instead of the physical building that i had been doing the past couple of days. had iced the wrist a few times yesterday during some breaks i took & it didn't seem bad till last night when it had started throbbing. my physio dude worked on it for quite some time & after some cracking & crunching, it gave a pop & felt a bit better. tomorrow will be cutting down a section of my tree that has died. i noticed after the last wind storm we had a big branch followed by a bunch of small ones all over the ground. i looked up & 1 big branch section seems to have died & half of the branch broke off. figured i better get rid of the rest of it before we have another storm & it ends up breaking off onto the roof of the house or my deck. i might even try to get some lattice work done too. i know friday is suppose to be the hottest day of the week, but i love working out in the heat. since haven't come across any of that humidity yet, still waiting, maybe tomorrow. the pools up to 85 degrees, water feels great. have a great night.
i did try to get thru for tickets, but all i got were busy signals. sorry no luck for me today.
thanx for the Santana songs

thanks so much H team!!!
We had a really nice dinner at the Keg... Hubby had his "usual" prime rib and I had the lobster wrapped in bacon (sorry Rocky) with sirloin:
(Sirloin & Lobster Medallion - grilled top sirloin steak paired with an oven-roasted lobster medallion wrapped in applewood smoked bacon. Served with butter for dipping.)
very yummy with some steak and veggies left over for lunch tomorrow!!

One of our ushers at our wedding suggested that I post some wedding pictures on FB, so I did... I scanned 20 + pictures and having a hoot with it tonight.... I still can't believe it's been 26 years!!!

noticed wolfie seagull post from earlier, remembered this from sept 2007
'A seagull in Scotland has developed the habit of stealing chips from a neighborhood shop. The seagull waits until the shopkeeper isn't looking, and then walks into the store and grabs a snack-size bag of cheese Doritos. Once outside, the bag gets ripped open and shared by other birds. The seagull's shoplifting started early this month when he first swooped into the store in Aberdeen, Scotland, and helped himself to a bag of chips. Since then, he's become a regular. He always takes the same type of chips. Customers have begun paying for the seagull's stolen bags of chips because they think it's so funny.'

OH NOOOO, just saw a piece of this on the ctv
Story:
I was at a party for Karl Strauss Brewing, AMAZING VIEW of the Bay. So at the party we had just turned off the lights and were listening to the radio station 105.7 the walrus which does a soundtrack to the firework show. They had just announced that the show was 5 mins. away. I had been adjusting my camera, getting all set up to record the entire show, when all of a sudden ALL THE FIREWOKRS WENT OFF. I quickly adjusted my camera and started recording. You can hear in the video if you listen closely "It looks like a finale". Everyone thought it was just an awesome intro for the Big Bay Boom Firework show, which is really amazing each year I watch. There are 4 locations, Shelter Island (shown on the right), Harbor Island (shown on the left), North Embarcadero (Shown in the center) and South Embarcadero (not really seen but behind Shelter Islands Show), and are all synced to go off at the same time with the same shows. With the 20 min. Firework Show going up in a blaze 5 mins early and only lasting 30 seconds, a lot of people became very upset over what happened. I found it funny how after the "Technical Problem" the radio station 105.7 still continued with the countdown and then still played the entire Firework soundtrack. After the 20 mins of music and no fireworks they ended up coming back saying "Woops, sorry, that was the show".
