Just got back from the African Fest. down here, last night it was the Indian one! Lots of people at both! My daughter and I got a couple nice pieces of jewellery at a good deal (at least cheaper than they were asking!)

Hope everyone enjoyed their day.

Went for a little walk (to get away from the endless spring/summer/multi-season cleaning & organizing. Saw some interesting sculptures by Zimbabwean artists. I'll post a couple of pics when the camera finishes its downloading.

HAPPY PSUNDAY!
yesterday was my Dad's birthday, so spent most of the day with him. he did pretty well in the booze department. i gave him a bottle of port & red cabernet sauvignon, mom gave him a bottle of red shiraz & my sister also gave him a bottle of port. my 2 brothers hadn't been by yet, so he may have gotten some more, not that he drinks alot or the rest of the family either, but we have been known to have an afternoon cocktail or 2.
today i was busy with trying to finish the lattice work. almost got it done till i ran out of screws. i have 1 more panel to put up & 16 screws in 1 i have put up. will have to get some more tomorrow to finish before back to work on tuesday.

have fun on you vacation Attitash. it's not suppose to be as "humid" as last week, but it wasn't here.

welcome back Mc Skier. sounds like a great time except for the heat exhaustion. hope you have recovered.

did i mention this week has been great. a little more heat this weekend would have been nice.

some pics from Friday nights concert at SA. 1st up was Sreamin' Evil Blues Band. they've openned for Michael White before & they're good. they have some of their own songs, plus they do covers of George Thoroughlygood, ZZ Top, Eric Clapton & a bunch of others.
