So very sad...but I only hope that the daughter is better off without her mother.

Should not have the title of mother - so sad. Hoping the daughter gets help quickly, and is in a loving home.

had that been a disabled boy .... the outcome would of been horrific
they would of dragged him in the public washroom
and gang rape the poor lad.

I'm not condoning what the woman did at all. But I work with kids with special needs and their families. The stress that parents go through all day, every day is unreal and there is never enough support. Maybe she never was a good parent to begin with or maybe, like she said, she just couldn't handle it anymore and she snapped and made the worst decision ever.

Can you imagine the poor girl's thoughts? If she is like a 2 year old mentally, I'm sure she really loved her mother like a 2 year old and is hurting so bad wondering where her momma is
This breaks my heart

ITA, my friends had a 17yo daughter who was seriously handicapped. Mental age of 6 months, tetraplegic spastic, on a good day had several epileptic fits.. The physical effort of moving and changing the diaper of an adult is immense even with the help of a trained nurse is hard and time consuming. they had help but only during the day. Evenings, they were there on thier own.
I feel sorry for the young woman but I also have a lot of sympathy for the mother.
