I was in SDM this morning and they had 1 bottle of OLAY Body Wash plus body butter ribbons (Purple bottle) on clearance for $1.00. When I went down the aisle they had more on the shelf that was not labeled on clearance but I took them all and they all came up $1.00. To make this better I used the coupon for $3.00 off any two aqua current products. I used 3 of these coupons on the eight bottles I got which actually paid me $1.00 to take them! lol
They also had 4 packs of Royal Toilet paper for $1.00 and I used the $1.00 off coupons so FREE (got 6) :o)
The cashier I have to say was VERY rude with me asking if all these coupons were for todays purchase and I said yes. She proceeded to call the manager to see if there is a limit on the number of coupons someone uses and the manager said no but she huffed as she deducted each one... as if she gets paid less because I used coupons!

Some of those cashiers are truly unbelievable. You would think every coupon was coming off their paycheque. You should email Shoppers. Seriously. Last time I emailed them with a complaint they added 2000 Optimum pts to my card. Great deal on the Olay Ribbons.

Good Job..but did they actually give you money back from the coupons? Or did it just end up subtracting off something else you bought?

ugh........... don't fret she was probably jealous of you for getting so many deals .
Same thing happens to me when I use coupons , cashiers get frustrated but some are nice and ask how to get these coupons , so I take my time and tell them all about SC and Save.ca ............................. some win some lose!

Great deal on the Olay Body wash. I love that stuff! I don't have any coupons for them right now, but I'll still have to go see if my SDM has them for $1 (likely not, I never see clearance stuff. And I never get a flyer, even though there is a new SDM opening 2 blocks from my house!)

I actually bought lots of stuff (Nothing without a coupon-lol) so it was just dedcuted from the total. My bill prior to coupons was $73, with coupons I paid $26.73 (including a package of diapers). It was a great haul.
Also, remember the olay body wash on the shelf in the aisle where the body wash is did not have a sticker of sign that it was on clearance. I just happened to check after seeing the one in the back of the store on the clearance rack. It's worth a try at your store. I cleaned out the Belleville store at the Quinte mall :o)

I got some smoking deals at my Shoppers last night too! I got 3 bottles (24 pills each) of Buckleys Cold and Cough pills for $1.50 each, Old Spice Deoderant for $1.50 less a $1 coupon, a set of 3 bottles of Life brand shower gel for $1.50, some acid controller for $2, and a three piece cosmetic bag set for $10. I redeemed some optimum points and paid $8.80 for everything!!! My plan is to make a gift set for my best friend from some of these finds. I'm going to fill the cosmetic bags that I got, they are gorgeous!
I LOVE Smart Canucks for sneding me to Shoppers to shop again! I never used to go there!

Cashiers get in trouble if they use too many coupons too, I remember I had that when I worked at Sobeys. But I normally took any coupon in any quantity cause I didn't really care. She is probably just covering her ass.

How can a cashier get in trouble for taking valid coupons...I think that's a load of crap....that is just a manager trying to pull rank.
As long as the coupons are valid for the amount of products then it should be fine. I can see if they were letting you stack and that's not allowed at that store.
