A Golden Heart goes out to our HeartGirl, she’s been our friend for years,
She’s a most admired Smart Canuck on numerous frontiers,
I’ll bet she didn’t think, that she’d become one of our VIP’s
She has a way about her that puts us all at ease,
A lady we all can depend on, who has kept this place a-cookin’,
That’s why the lurkers have joined us, instead of just a-lookin’,
Her sunny disposition have earned her many accolades,
& all of us hold her in high regard & give her the highest grades,
She’s whimsical & clever & makes us feel at home,
With enchanting gals like her in our midst, who’d ever want to roam?
I would like to thank her for optimism & of course her charm,
Though some days here on Smart Canucks are like the funny farm,
Congratulations HeartGirl we are all humbled you’ve stayed with us,
You are such a terrific lady & you know I've never heard you cuss!

Hope everyone enjoyed their day.

We're all tired from the shower ordeal. Critters forgave me just before dinner time.

This evening, I ran down to pick up my mail & met my newest neighbour. I'm in love. With big brown eyes & short auburn hair, 3 month old Lola is a real heartbreaker. I think the brats know, cause they're back to giving me the cold shoulder.
