Why is it a rule to post lots? Pumpkin sent me the PkgTrains for Dummies so I feel rather schooled now, but the history of how the posting rule came to be was not in there.
Lola - I'm glad you made it on this train - I was feeling guilty that I got a spot before you, when I honestly didnt understand what it was I had signed up for! You were so deflated - Happy time now!

LOL!! NickiB... Couponandoff didn't realize it was an actual package train.... her first wishlist had items such as : Draw me a picture. HAHA!

I thought she was just being her usual hysterical self......

She revised her wishlist and I sent her a "package train for dummies" pm.

All is good now!!

As for TABOO.... I dont know if it is Taboo... but a few things to keep in mind(anyone else add to this):
Used items only if asked for
Samples are to be considered extra (unless specifically asked for)
If your buddy asked for "Q-tips" dont send "NoName Cotton Swabs"


Oh, and a great tip: If you are sending anything liquid(hand soap, shampoo, lotion, etc) put it in a ziploc baggie. In case it leaks.... it won't ruin the rest of the package.

Another tip: Bubble wrap will keep wine safe

Oh my, what a day! Did lots of shopping and I've put it all together and wrapped it all up. Now just to head to the post office before picking up the kidlets.

When did the dollar store start carrying $2 and $3 items???? Has it been that long since I was in it?? Wow, what a variety now. Although kind of sucks that everything isn't a dollar anymore.

Zellers, I hate you! Seriously, I hate you. Almost as much as "the man store" and that should tell you something. You're always dirty & disorganized, you staff are rude and your prices suck. Marking items UP just to take off 20% isn't a deal. So much for your "closing sale", your last weeks flyer sale was better. I always leave your store in a bad mood. WHY am I sucked in by your schemes? And sadly I know it wont be the last time before you close for good.

Whew, now that I got that off my chest. lol.

I think the minimum post rule was put in effect because people would join and you never heard from them again. They didn't post when they sent or that they received and what they received or even a thank you. I think maybe peoples feeling got hurt since we all put so much work into shopping and then to not receive any acknowledgement , well it sucks (happened to me at least 3 times). Perhaps the 10 post rule ensures people update and keep current with whats happening on the train.

Anyhoo, mailing this afternoon. Will pm my tracking number tonight.

One it keeps the train kinda of comunity train/friendly. Then we know people are in it also for the social not just to see if they get a good gift lol. Also nothing worse then spending all the time of keeping your buddy in mind and shopping for them and not have them say boo about their package you sent them. Honestly I don't have the money for a package train but I am so depressed I need it lol so it would be a real slap if my buddy comes on two days after them receiving it and say oh yeah I received my package from KK7 thanks. This is just my side lol I could be totally wrong.
