Wanting Coffee:
An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun
in one hand pulling a male buffalo with the other.
He says to the waiter:


"Want coffee."
The waiter says, "Sure. Coming right up."
He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee......
The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp,
turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun,
causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere and then just walks out.
The next morning the Indian returns.
He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling
another male buffalo with the other..
He walks up to the counter and says to
the waiter:


"Want coffee."
The waiter says "Whoa!
We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday.
What was all that about, anyway?"
The Indian smiles and proudly says,

"Training for position in Canadian government.
Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull,
leave for others to clean up,
disappear for rest of day." HAVE A GREAT DAY !!!!

Foot in Cold Water was a real good show last night. Happy i went.

I'll bet it was a great show Berndawg, it was the last time I seen them. As I said I was torn over whether to go there or stay here for the street fest. Had a good time down here - seen David Rotundo, Shrimp Daddy, Paul James, Neil Chapman etc. I made the most of the festival Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday afternoon and night and today Sunday afternoon. I hate when it ends, feels kind of like Christmas being over or the end of a vacation, I really love all the music happening down here. I hope FICW plays there again so I can catch them then. I know they do a great show.

hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. these 1 day weekends go by so quickly, now it's back to work. the weather was fabulous today.
thanx for the Springsteen songs. good luck winning box seats. now it's time for 4 weeks of Rush tickets! good luck with winning any 1 of the trips.

A Foot in Cold Water was an excellent concert. the openning act was the Danny Marks Band. Danny Marks was the lead guitar for another Canadian band called Edward Bear. Their biggest hit was "The Last Song" that went to #1 in Canada & #3 in the USA. the group disbanded in 1974 & Danny continued his career as a blues guitarist. his ban did a number of covers from Dusty Springfield, Ronny Hawkins & Johnny Cash. he sings an excellent Johnny Cash, plus he also did The Last Song & You Me & Mexico.
A Foot in Cold Water came on around 10pm & played till 11:15pm, then came back for an encore & did, Make Me Do Anything You Want then they closed the evening with Whole Lotta Love & New Generation. the SA also was showing a n early film clip of the band back in the 70's when they all had lots of long hair. the band did a tribute to Chuck Berry by doing Johhnny B Good while showing a film clip of Berry back which also showed the Bass player, Hughie Leggat & the Drummer, Danny Taylor from A Foot in Cold Water. Apparently A Foot in Cold Water were playing at this festival with Chuk Berry, but he had no bassist or drummer so A Foot in Cold Water offered theirs. it was an awesome night, an excellent show & company was great. this week SA is taking the weekend off, so the next concert is Aug 10th with Michael White doing Zeppelin, the Early Years. we also received tickets to Rik Emmett of Triumph for thursday Aug 23rd.
