Do you remember the first time you took your b/f, g/f, partner, fiance... to meet your parents? Did anything go wrong?

I remember the first time I took hubby to meet my Mom.... it was nerve wracking!

My Mom is very 'picky' and never liked anyone else I was ever interested in. Nothing went wrong thankfully... and the second time she met my him she saw an engagement ring on my finger.

hahah! My mother would faint from shock if I tell her that line... that or I'd be dead before I could continue talking hehe

The first time I brought a guy home, my mother was silent, it was my cousins and my brothers and sisters who interrogated him, thankfully, they all liked him (my mother included). About my father... well... he (my father) never talked to him (my ex-boyfriend), I think he never liked him, I asked him whether he liked my (ex) before but all he told me was "As long as he's making you happy, he's fine with me." Since then I was so sure that he hated my ex! hehe

My parents knew my husband before we started dating so they already knew and liked him, however I didn't meet his parents until after we were together and it was totally spur of the moment we were going downtown for the night and he asked me to stop at his aunts house for a QUICK MINUTE and of course his parents were inside and wanted me to come in and meet them, I was only 20 it was the summer and we were on our way to the bars so I really wasn't dressed in a way I would like to have been to meet my future in-laws(really short tight shorts, shirt with a cut up the front and a little tank top) but in the end it all worked out.
