i can safely say i'm not impressed with the new chapmans freezer bags.. first use.. the handle tore right off heck handle tore as the woman was trying to load the bag for the first use! and i can see why, the stitching does not go all the way through the bag just on the outer shell

The handle on my bag broke the second time I used it and there wasn't even anything that heavy in it. Gave it to my sister for her ferrets to play in so it will at least get some use out of it.

Our spm'd new red beach ball got a huge hole in it. I order a new one and hope that it lasts longer.

Thanks to all who posted about the freezer bag. i was waiting for it to come back as a prize but now I won't bother. What a shame. I hope you all contact Chapman's to let them know so they can find another vendor to make them for the future.

i loved the previous bag (so much so i gave them away as gift bags to family members) so when i got this new bag which looks very similar just slightly cheaper made (the bag isn't quilted like the last one...) i think i'll take my sewing machine to them next time it's out and restitch the handles so they go all the way through the layers hopefully that will prevent them from breaking and last a little longer.. i also hope they bring back the previous bag
