Given that this is a perfect example of reading a post but not seeing any of the body language or hearing the intonation that accompanies it, I won't jump to conclusions as to how to interpret the comment.
There is a reason why many American travellers still attach Maple Leafs to their backpacks and clothing when they travel.
The facebook item in Bellingham is amusing and really quite silly. They rely on Canadians to keep the economy going in Bellingham and although tourists can sometimes be an annoyance no matter where one lives in the world, they contribute to keeping people employed. That goes for metro Vancouver, where I live, too...Last edited by DianneS; Sun, Aug 19th, 2012 at 11:50 PM.

I'm assuming the cow ate food of some kind... doesn't really matter to me if the cow was fed on corn or grass or ate fried chicken for dinner. I think the point is they're saying it's raised without drugs added. Crab feed on rotting dead things on the bottom of the ocean. They are the spider of the sea. They're delicious!

Pinky, are you grass fed? I'm grass fed and free range, I bet I would be so tasty.
