Thread: Coupons on ebay??? Really?
-
Wed, Aug 22nd, 2012, 07:23 PM #1
So searching for something else ... I came across an ebay link ... were people are selling stacks and stacks of coupons. FOR CASH! Maybe it's just me ... but it seems a little wrong. The point of the coupon is to save some money ... not pay money for the coupon to then in turn try and save some money. Also ... these people selling them have mass amounts of each type of coupon. No wonder it's so hard to find them in the stores.
Maybe I missed the boat on this one ... but I don't like it.
Having said that - what I was searching for is a list of current ups codes for stackable coupons (SOF and or LD). Was hoping someone online might already have a thread going that I could add too ... and use as a resource.

There have been a few threads about this. I've bought coupons on ebay- I live in an area with NO tear pads ever lol. I use the money I get from doing surveys because it's extra money anyway. I'm probably gonna get flamed for admitting that I do this but, hey, I get coupons that I wouldn't otherwise and I don't have to give up my own stash to get them!

That's fair ... I get that ... I guess the thing that got me the most was how many of each coupon some of these people had to sell. Like 25 to 50 copies of the Smuckers Booklets ... I can only dream of finding 1! ;-)

This topic keeps coming up over and over again and coupon rants are not allowed in the rant section

Yeah I was pretty shocked about that too. I just find it wrong that some people actually make a business from selling coupons that are supposed to be FREE
Complete quick surveys and cash out at every $20. Receive a cheque, deposit it into your bank. That easy! https://legerweb.com/2Q7V3

This takes the cake on www.ebay.ca Canadian Coupon Service charging people $10 a month to look for mailed coupons on the internet.

I've never bought any on there, but I'm not opposed to it. It would help someone who doesn't have time or access to find and clip coupons. As long as the price and quantity are reasonable. If you are a super busy person and could really use the 10 - $1 off coupons on product X, spending $0.99-$2.00 to get them may be worth it.

WOW. That is uncool.
In addition to that uncoolness... that is a Coupon Zone coupon, and I don't see it stated anywhere on the ad for the buyer that it is only valid at Loblaws banner stores. Maybe I missed it though.
Whoever they are, they are asking buyers to pay $2.99+ for their TIME to LOCATE coupons... when the coupon zone tearpads are right inside the door of Loblaws stores, in plain view. Pretty pathetic.Last edited by bdkmosher; Tue, Feb 5th, 2013 at 07:31 PM.
