We use the canned salmon like "fast food" -- good for a quick meal, instead of going to a fast food restaurant. Supper can be done really quickly when you are in a rush.
I've watched the price of this salmon go up and up.
We use to be able to get it on sale 3/$5, a couple of times a year.
No more. Now the sale price is $2.49

I know. I know. Some people don't like fish. LOL.
My mother use to tell us that we would do better in school if we ate the salmon. She said it was brain food. She made it with onions, peppers, tomatoes heated on the stove. A splash of vinegar. On a bed of rice or potatoes with veggies.

These are the regular size cans.
Loblaws doesn't have their own factory, so the NN is made by one of the big guys -- Clover Leaf or Gold Star. It's just as good. And if the product isn't up to standards, Loblaws will take them back.
