Hmmmm I have not run into that but it sounds like a FF addon virus type thing that was going around a while back too

Hope she doesn't mind, but just for an example, on post 19 the word coupon shows up for me in blue and is underlined. If I put my cursor on it, I get an ad.

No ad link for me on that, I would clean your computer and see if it still happens

Check FF for an ad addon too, I can't remember what its called but its pretty obvious

(and to choose a single post, right click on the post number in the top right - in this case post 19 - and choose copy link location, or click on it and copy from there)

I see, it kept underlining because I posted the link first, then went up on the post to type.
I tried to undo it by hitting italics, but that didn't work.

(So much to still learn; some of which I used to know, but I forget.... gah!)

FP, you're a star!

I checked add-ons, and sure enough there was a Codec V (listed as a bad thing on a site) - so I got rid of that, then had to restart FF, and it's gone.
Dummy that I am, I had accidentally installed that program to run videos, realized I shouldn't have, so my son uninstalled it right away, then I cleaned the puter to make sure there wasn't anything else hiding.
Now I know to check add ons, too.
Darned bad stuff on the net/puters for those of us who are just simple folk!

If its all underlined, highlight the text and click the little globe with the red x and it will remove it

In the last 10 minutes, I've just learned how to uninstall a program, thanks to my son.

We had something called Internet Turbo - showed up on our bottom toolbar thingee of the computer, son had no idea where it came from either.
What the heck is going on? It's been ages since we've had a bugged up puter!
Doing a full scan now, then son will check what else needs to be done this aft.
I have my limits!

Yikes, sorry to see that. I hope you keep a copy of your trade list stored somewhere else. Every time I do a big update of my wish list I send a copy of it to myself by email. That's about as sophisticated as I get for doing some back up.
