Just got back from doing a redemption and I did the chocolate bar deal. I bought 12 Cadbury bars ($2 each and no coupons
, but Cadbury is our brand and we go through about 2 bars a week), 3 blocks of cheese and 2 bottles of ketchup (seriously, weirdest SDM shopping list I've ever had) for a subtotal of $51.05+3.59tx = a grand total of $54.64. Cashed in 25,000 points and paid $4.64 OOP. Earned 24,010 points. So basically, I used 990 points for $50 of loot. I'm pretty happy with that!

Yupyup! 3x8000 points or 3 promos in one transaction. I am not sure where the idea that you could only get one promo per transaction came from, but I assure you, I did 3 promos in my redemption. Heading out again shortly to do another - this is fun!

Thanks for the confirmation Ange, sending wifey out to basically try the same, Would be nice to use all the chocolate for gift baskets at Christmas, lets hope it works, otherwise if they only give 8,000 back, would only be out 17,000 from a $50 redemption, and can make that back up in 2 transactions
Will let you guys know how she makes out

We (or at least me) were getting our information from a fellow SCer who was told by a Shoppers manager. This is great! I'm heading out tomorrow, and with this I could actually do 2 redemptions. Need 1 more confirmation that you can do multiple in one transaction and I'll be set (no offense to you, I just want to make sure it wasn't a fluke and end up wasting my redemption on chocolate bars without points
)

28 chocolate bars, got 56000 points.
Bought other stuff to get to $110 and redeemed 50000 points.
Made 6000 points.
Going to do it again and again and again.
