My kiddos don't get sick too much (knock on wood) but my little guy has been in the hospital twice in the past few years for stitches... he is such a klutz!! I imagine the hospital staff with know us on a first name basis at some point!

Ugh, I worry about DS. He's so big and such a brute. He's only 16 months and is the size of DD (who is 3.5) and he's strong and stubborn. Oh what a nice combination. He literally has bruises ALL over him at any given point.

Thank goodness the daycare knows me and sees how rough he is on a daily basis. lol. I was so worried on his first day that they would think I beat him or something. lol.

I can't even count how many incident reports I've had to sign. *sigh* The one worker is always "you're always so nice and relaxed, some parents would freak out if their kids got any bumps or bruisers." My response, "it's not your fault! It's completely HIM. I know because he gets bruises at home too!"

He has ZERO fear. He climbs anything and then will just jump. WHY???? lol

i want to read the new Emily Giffin book "where we belong" ... i love her books. but i don't want to pay for S&H OR pay full price at the store for a hardcover ... and there are 14 ppl in front of me at the library waiting for the book.
any ideas? lol

I had to move this School Bus toy my mom got the kids because DS figured out that if he pushed his ride on car beside it, he would get high enough to climb to the top! The day he perched him on the top of it, I moved it to the basement. I'll pull it out when he is older *hopefully*

Oh Lola, he sounds just like Hayden! I've caught him launching himself from his dresser to his bed... just flying through the air!! If he can climb on it, hang from it, jump off it, or swing from it he'll do it... argh!!! I'm surprised I'm not covered in grey hair, rocking in a corner somewhere LOL

Do you know anyone that has bought the electronic version???

My mom & sister buy a lot for their kobo's, so I'm hoping to load up my kobo next time I see them. lol. I'm going to try and do the 100 book challenge starting January 1st.

WHY do they do it? DD is so gentle. I'm not used to the roughness!

I've warned DH that he can't tell DS ANY of his childhood stories. They are SCARY! Like, so what you grew up in the country, doesn't mean it's normal to play with gun powder and fireworks!!!!! He almost blew up his hand on SEVERAL occassions. That is NOT normal. Although he says "its what guys do".

Again I ask WHY??????????

What's the 100 book challenge Lola? Bub, I was going to suggest that as well, try and get an electronic version.

Well, I guess schools in the states do it formally.

But my friend is doing an adult version and I decided I want to try to! It's just trying to read 100 books in one year! Now that's a lot of books! Doubt if I'll get to 100 but I'm interested to see how far I can get. lol

I really think boys and men are a different species sometimes lol. My boys fight ALL the time... like, all out I'm gonna beat the living crap out of you fights. I can't imagine what they'll be like when they get older. But as soon as they're done they're best buddies again... I don't get it either!

I dont have any brothers. DH has 3. It certainly is weird watching them. It's like watching the nature channel with wild animals. ahahahaha
