OMG i'm furious the last 2 weeks i have not been getting any mail a few flyers or junk mail.Today a fellow who lives on the next street brings me 25 piece of mail that was in his mailbox.He has been out of town for 3 weeks so that was why he hasn't been over sooner.Monday morning i'll be going to the post office to see WTF is going on with my mail.It not like the streets are similar in name

So those of you who haven't received FB from me will get it in a day or so.That's my rant for the day

I would be mad too and see what's going on.At least you have a honnest person who bring it back to you.I got wrong adress mail to me,2 time the civic number was inversed but nothing like that...not normal...if you dont see at postes canada whats going on...that thing will continu...

So glad he brought it to you! When mail gets into the wrong mailbox in our building, people are too rude to put it in the right one, just return to sender

My parents always used to get mail for some dude in another part of town. The addresses, names, postal codes weren't even similar. Bills, wedding invitations, all sorts of stuff. They would just put it back in their mailbox and write WRONG ADDRESS on the envelope, that way the postal worker knew not to return it to sender

There are 4 people named Bill Clark in the town where I grew up (my dad being one of them).

We got other people's mail all the time. Sometimes we'd catch it at the post office, but every once in a while we'd open it before we realized it wasn't us. Not to mention all the wrong number phone calls we'd get.

BUT, at least there was a reason for those mistakes. I hope the people at the post office at least apologize to you, and that you didn't miss any bill payments or time sensitive letters because of this!

Glad you finally got it!

As of this week, Canada Post rolled out changes - and wow, did I notice changes. Not only did our time of delivery change, so did our mail carrier (aw, I miss the old one!), and we got pieces of mail for someone down the block.

As of this week, Canada Post rolled out changes - and wow, did I notice changes. Not only did our time of delivery change, so did our mail carrier (aw, I miss the old one!), and we got pieces of mail for someone down the block.

As I have been telling many members on here for some time the changes are he**!! Not only on the receiving end for when you get your mail later AND wrong, but also for the employees. Twelve hour routes claiming to be 8 hours. Totally different equipment, way later starting times as well as complicated procedures involving technology ( harder for many older employees to learn) so now most workers are delivering your mail after dark.
( if it helps...sorry on behalf of my fellow carriers, they really are trying their best...but who can be alert and functioning after being forced to work O.T. every day? )

Yikes! I'd phone CP. Had to do it a few times because we live on an A Avenue and the carrier delivered our mail all over the place. Just keep phoning too if it happens again. I feel for all those carriers who had their jobs turned upside down. I don't mind so much if my mail is slow, just that I actually get it!

This happens once in awhile at my work...I get the whole streets mail...all different numbers some 4 blocks away!

My rant would be how the "new" mail lady on our route stands at our group mailboxes with the doors open while she chats with another woman. She is there on my way home for lunch and still there chatting on my way back to work. I can't get my mail until after work now. I mean, you're not being paid to stand and gossip. Annoying since we used to get our mail first thing in the morning with the last carrier.
