I know right? I still can't put my finger on what it was about the movie because it did follow the book pretty good. I think they just didn't develop the characters enough? Like I really didn't care about them or something.

I loved that book as a kid.

Oh thanks for the reminder! Someone in Ottawa messaged me about getting together to exchange coupons and chat and I was meaning to message her back after Thanksgiving and I forgot! oh dear...

Vampire Diaries was awesome but I really think Elaina made the wrong choice in brothers, however it looks like it'll be a good season Thursday are so good for TV lol, Big Bang Theory and Vampire Diaries!

Hunger Games movie - I enjoyed the book more, but thought perhaps because my dad had found the movie online that there was something wrong with it, there were these flashbacks to previous points in the movie that I'm not sure were intentional lol. I'll have to watch it again and see if I can figure it out.

And I am also very honored to be on the train. It makes me feel like I'm special lol. I am having as much fun shopping as I'm sure my son & I will opening Thought I still wish my buddy would post something! I am off work today sick and need to stop at Walmart for some Advil Cold & Sinus (missed it last time it was on sale) so I'll just see if there's anything else there for my buddy lol. Might also finish up my son's shopping so I can get him toys and he won't know, it's hard when he sees things go in the cart and wants them right away, though he's easy to lie to "oh that's for so and so not you".

I did an EPIC ORDERING PRESENT FAIL!

    Without giving *too much away*....

I decided to order something online for my buddy... GREAT IDEA! I might have been a little tired when I did it.... BAD IDEA!

I show hubby my FANTASTIC gift idea that I have ordered (and paid for). He says "whats the inside joke?"

I look at him stunned. "WHAT do you mean joke... there is NO joke...you just don't get it because you don't love coupons the way *we* do!"

He replies.. "I like the gift... I just don't understand why you called it CUPONS"

"WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" <-- this is me freaking out at myself

UGH! I'm such a dork! HOW does a couponer spell COUPONS-- CUPONS

Already re-ordered for my buddy... and I asked my hubby to spell check for me. (LOL)

buddy - what types of movies do you like to watch? and what is your favourite movie?
I love to watch thrillers and comedies. I have several favorite movies that I like to watch once in awhile - Love Actually, Muriel's Wedding, Big Monty..
I've been thinking of start watching Sopranos again. I have Season 1 but wouldn't mind getting burnt copies of Seasons 2-6, if my buddy have access it them..

We usually have an annual long drive every summer for girls Dance competition somewhere in States and with three kids in a car my main goal is to keep them busy. For the last few years I've been buying DVDs of popular TV Shows an we watched them. In 2011 we watched 3 Seasons of Glee and last summer we watched Seasons 1-4 of Big Bang Theory. OMG, we loved this show! 10 hrs watching Big Bang Theory, except my DH kept asking why we were laughing so hard! He was driving and I was sitting with my kids in a back seat watching Big Bang.

OMG, this is so funny! Actually If I'm buddy *wink *wink I wouldn't mind getting something with "CUPONS" on it, everyone would've thought it was spelt like this on purpose!

I did some shopping for kids train yesterday and bought quite a few items. While showing them to my girls later I was told "you never buy anything like this for us, I want it". Whaat? I have to wrap the gifts ASAP now and keep inventory to make sure nothing gets "misplaced" lol

Alright junior buddy, I'm almost done! Still having some problems with adult buddy's box but I think it will be ok, a few things on order and fingers crossed they get here! I do like that we have lots of time for this, still have to get the xmas themed stuff but at least I know I have time. Course I tend to want to get everything done asap, which leads to me going over board. Last year my son was a little overwhelmed at Xmas and got bored opening too many presents, I'm doing better this year

aww Pumpkin im sure your buddy will love their gift of 'cupons'.

i was up til 12 last night reworking my buddies list. I have a tendancy to c/p when doing this on the computer.. and I think i might have done two together.. sooo I spent about 2.5 hours re c/p again in short form. wow. i was too worried my buddy would open something and go 'um, what is this?".. lol. now i have a much clearer picture of them and can shop much faster. and hope by the time im done, stores are well stocked with items i need to wrap. as the only paper i have is 'hubbies' and its about 50+ years old. he found it at a rummage sale and grabbed it. he says i can't touch. please stores hurry up i need paper. anyway i haven't had my first coffee or breakfast and need to get going.

I've picked up a few items for my buddy.....haven't got out as much as I hoped this week with DH being off work

On the upside he did manage to finish my solar laundry room!

So buddy if you are needing more ideas:
    -clothes pins
    -bag/basket to store clothes pins
-drying spinner (thing to hang socks on)
-a Laundry room sign (a funny one! or something antique)
    -peel & stick window film/etching
    -pop up laundry hamper

Book? I requested a specific book on my wishlist (Unsaid by Neil Abramson) but I also read anything and everything (except Harlequins) I usually stick to crime, murder mystery types - Patricial Cromwell, Kathy Reichs, Jonathan Kellerman etc....I tend not to buy books, so anything new-ish is great!
Showers or Baths? Usually showers, but we do have a fancy jaccuzzi tub too, love it, but don't use it often as I am 5'11'' and it isn't exactly built for tall folks
Farm animals? I have no kids, and the fur kids tolerate each other! I do however LOVE donkeys!
Used DVDs? Yep, burnt are great too! Also used books, CDs are great! I am totally ok with recycling these types of items!
Favourite type of movie? pretty much all (horror included) not super into chick flicks (I may be one of the few who has zero desire to see Magic Mike!) Comedies over Drama though -my ADD gets the best of me sometimes and have to be super into a movie to sit still for it
Favourite Movie? I love Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell, so any of their movies are good....I also like documentary types (There is something wrong with Aunt Diane, Blood on the Flat Track, Never Say Never <--gah did I just admit that?!? )

I am just starting to watch Dexter if my buddy happens to have any of the seasons after season 1 and wants to burn me a copy that would be ok! I would also like to see the new Katy Perry movie (I don't think it is out yet though)
i have no desire to see Magic Mike either...

Just putting this out there Lmk/PM me if you wanna!
never done a recycle walk, but would love to get together as you live close by. my DD is a bit old for yours, she is almost 2.5yrs - but you could come to the early years centre i meantion on the last train before you go back to work!
