Well, my little milk monster is starting to get the hang of this whole feeding thing...except when she gets annoyed, motorboats me and then passes out into a deep milk coma!

This wknd involves a bunch of visits from friends & Don's brother from London (who's obsessed with Alexa already and has informed us his car's full of baby stuff - lol). She's such a spoiled little munchkin already. Her wardrobe's pretty much doubled this wk. Poor daddy's gonna go into pink overload! (His sister got Alexa a little pink tutu from Old Navy...he almost passed out from the girliness. Haha - I think some of these outfits are ridiculous for this age though. A tutu and a puffer vest can't be comfy for a newborn! So funny). So happy it's the wknd though and he's home with me. He put in a 62 hr wk this wk because work exploded and every client "needed' him. And this includes him being home by noon yesterday! Lol. So yah, we're happy daddy's home if only for 2 way conversation! Lol

I'm hoping to do some knitting this wknd though. I've discovered with company that I need to be awake for, they're more than happy to hold A & then I get my hands free & can knit while we visit/chat. Gotta get going on my buddy's 2nd homemade gift!

    K, end of tangent!

    Buddy,

Not sure if your done shopping for me or not but if not im going to throw another one at you. i just noticed the post about the Timmies Christmas items coming out. I would LOVE to get my hands on the timbits ornament one. I tried to get one last year but most stores around here sold out of them VERY fast! So just a heads up if your still shopping for me!Also the Olympic red gloves on at Zellers for $5, Ive always wanted a pair just too cheap to buy them for myself. LOL Was thinking of running over to Zellers and grabbing a pair then i thought, why not just post it here and wait and see

Oh I would love the Tim Horton's ornaments too, got the coffee cup last year but sadly my youngest ripped it off the tree and threw it and the handle broke

As for the Olympic mitts we do not need them as we got them last year on this train

I'm pretty sure both my boys lived in onesies for the first 3 or 4 months with maybe one nice outfit for pictures. I still have a ton of really cute little outfits with tags on them. So sad haha. I wish more people i know would have boys so i can offload them but it's a girlathon and i too am guitly of buying the ridiculous outfits (albiet not newborn sizes) Girl stuff is just way too cute! noone can resist a baby in a tutu....they make for some great pictures! but, yeah, everyday wear, not so much....

So i've decided to hold a games night once a month (apparently these are the things one does when kids prevent you from ever leaving the house past 7:30 haha) and we stayed up playing crib last night until 3 in the morning. That game is ridiculously fun, especially with a very competitive boy vs girl battle to pump things up. OMG love those kind of nights!

HOWEVER the 6:30 am "Mom I'm hungry!" wake up calls are not nearly as enjoyable.....

weather update - It snowed AGAIN last night. off to shovel....AGAIN!

Well we managed to run our errands before the rain started! Got lots of groceries at Walmart, had a lovely cashier who, when I said "I have quite a few coupons", said "Great! I love coupons and price matching, makes my day!" So yeah I'll be looking for her again lol. Also grabbed a few things for buddy and/or junior buddy, haven't decided who will get what yet lol. A few Xmas things out but not much... trying to be patient but I want to top up my box!!

Lovely day though, my boy is in a good mood, lots of hugs and cuddles, smiles and laughs. The antibiotics must really be working and he's feeling better. Phew. It's too bad we won't be able to try out his balance bike but oh well, maybe we'll get lucky next weekend. Oh, next weekend is the Cat Show in Ottawa and I so want to go, but my sister and her girls won't confirm if they can babysit!! I need to find a new babysitter who is more reliable, though I suspect I'd have to pay them lol.

And my interview went pretty well, turns out the hiring manager knows my previous manager (who loved me lol) and is my main reference, so that is a lucky break. He offered to "pull some strings ". Of course now that it could be happening I am going into nervous mode, am I making the right decision, what if I can't do it, what if it doesn't work out... trying to remain calm though, and I should know by the end of next week. Eek!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!! Those of you with snow already... keep it please I'll put up with the rain lol
