There is. There are advertising/marketing watchdogs. I'll see if I can dig out the link to complain. Since it's a bonus offer, I'm not sure you'd get anywhere, but at least they might start to pay more attention to their offers BEFORE they get posted.

Do not call people on this board stupid. We are clearly smarter than the people in SDM marketing. And unlike you, I for one do not have time to search through all the ads looking for these kinds of promos to keep to myself so I appreciate the dialogue that takes place here to alert me to great deals.

And I do believe that SDM is stupid. It's one thing to make a mistake but to make these bonus pt promo mistakes over and over again shows they do not have their act together. They are infuriating their customers who are unable to take advantage of promos because shelves are being cleared and instead of introducting limits to how many bonus pts their system will allow per card, they're freezing people's optimum accounts to make them call head office. Seriously, how stupid is that!

Yes I agree, smarter than SDM marketing in terms of understanding the promo, but really really "unsmart" for bragging about it, especially on the Shoppers Drug Mart Facebook page!!!!!!! Look what happens when there is "open dialogue" to discuss the promos. Nobody benefits because the promos are changed / killed.

I'm sure flyers are printed well before hand, and I'm sure SDM has people trolling through groups like this and stuff gets brought to their attention. At least it was changed before the sale starts, and not midway through

I bought Greens Multi Vitamins & Webber Naturals Glucosamine and received 20X so wasn't just limited to Life Brand. But I think today is the last day of that promo.

Rather than keep these kind of promos to yourself, you all jump on the internet (including the SDM Facebook page itself) and brag about how cool you are to have figure out a points scheme. Do you think SDM is stupid? They certainly have staff reading these forums, so when you guys are bragging about how you are going to go clear the shelves because 9,000 pts are worth more than the $10 you are paying to get them, the guys at SDM headquarters are reading this, taking this to whoever is important, and right then and there they change the policy because they can.
