Woke up to water in our basement. I started to mop it up but was getting nowhere so DH suggested we get a wet vac. We looked on Home Depot website at one for $129 that seemed to get the best reviews. When we got there they had it on unadvertised special buy for $70.
Took some of the sting out of they surprise expense and having to spend 4 hours cleaning up the basement. This thread is currently associated with: Home Depot

Well, maybe you can swing a deal with Rona. They are offering a $50,000 prize if you enter with your Stouffer's/Lean Cuisine UPCs.

Good break on the wet vac when you needed something positive about the situation!
Sump pump-Home Hardware probably has the item on sale every so often as some of their stores deal with rural communities.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Sump Pump - if you're ever in the US that's where we got ours. I think it was only $30 or $40 to replace our ancient one that came with our house (that was earlier this year). I think it came from Harbour Freight. If not - Princess Auto has cheaper then elsewhere stuff like this too sometimes.
