Does this warrant negative feedback? Someone made me an offer and included her address in her PM. I emailed them back and said thanks for the trade, and included my address.

Now she says she has already traded away what she had offered me? There is nothing else I need from her and she offered stamps to make up for it but I don't need any more stamps as I just bought a ton. I was sending her high value coupons for FPC.

I might take stamps from someone I already have a relationship with and had legitimately made a mistake, but not someone who pulled the wool over my eyes after I sent my personal information

Any advice is appreciated. I replied to her about 24 hours after she sent her offer

Wait... you already sent your end of the trade to her ? How long after you said thanks for the trade did she tell you she couldn't send her end ? Not placing blame, but for me, I don't consider a trade complete until both sides say " Mailing tomorrow" .

If you haven't sent your end then I would just chalk this up as "mis-communication" (and add to your personal do not trade list )... I mean... she made an offer (though I don't include my address until the very end, not at the offer stage).. both parties didn't come to the final agreement of saying "Thanks for the trade, mailing tomorrow".

Now if you already sent your end : a) You could just ask her to return it to you when she gets it since there's nothing else she has to offer that you want

b) If you mail within hours , I want to trade with you

For me, a trade is finalized once addresses are exchanged. I would leave a neutral? I'm just thinking what would have happened if you didn't log back on to write her envelope and mailed your side before you found out that she traded the coupons away?

Totally agree with you, but usually addresses are exchanged at the end of the trade... not with the offer.

I agree, once an address is sent its usually considered done. That's why it should be sent at the end. TG let me know who it was so I can keep an eye out for other issues

I don't think you need to leave any feedback,because you haven't mailed the envie yet. You still have your coupons with you and not wasted any stamp. If you have mailed already, the other trader may need to send you something in replacement. In this case there is no need to send a replacement either because both of you never mailed anything each other, it is just addresses exchanged, just my opinion

what is the protocol for joining a train where the conductor never updated or sent anything out after making the riders list. i pmed them after a long wait and requested to be removed from their train. I'm still listed as a rider. no updates or responses to pms. and they have still been actively signing into sc.

A VWT or trad train?
If it is a trad train I would just ignore it since you asked to be removed, if a VWT it may be a bit different if the wishlists were posted as you set aside coupons for riders etc

It was just a basic train so I will ignore it and add the conductor to my personal do not trade/train list. Thank you.

I've send her a pm a while back and have not heard from her, she used to do alot of trains and was so very kind. She was going through some personal issues and returning back to work a while back.
