Only have ever been on a big plane once, from Saskatoon north to Uranium City - I think it was about an hour and a half.

"Pork Jello" - our pet name for it, Ukrainian dish called studenetz, commonly called 'headcheese', though no one uses the head, just pork hocks.

1. If you could visit any planet in our solar system, which would you visit? Jupiter - loads of interesting things there...or really any of the Jovian planets... though the lack of a surface might make it difficult to go for a stroll
2. If you could go back in time, which time period would you go to? 1920's... I would have loved to meet a lot of the modern scientists who came up with so many of the theories I work with daily.

I love Christmas and all the commercialism of it. I love the decor, the food, the gifts and the food. I love going to church and meeting up with some friends and family I rarely see, I love going to the kids christmas concerts, I love everything about it.

14+ hours to Amman Jordan.

Its not strange now, but it was then, cauliflower. Mom never cooked cauliflower, so when my dh cooked some, I was hesitant to try at first, but I am glad I did, I love it!

Oh, Andit, my husband eats 'raw' bacon; it just grosses me out....

There's a special kind of cured bacon that we sometimes get from the European deli - it's almost pure fat and smothered in really hot spicy paprika. I once offered a taste of it to a friend who recoiled in horror. I find it interesting that I grew up on this sort of thing and yet my arteries are perfectly clear (as proven by the angiogram last year).
