This morning I woke up very early as I was on a mission to buy myself a much needed Christmas gift. To my utter dismay I realized latter that I wasn’t the only one with the same idea. I drove to my local shopping mall, parked the car and starting walking casually towards the entrance of the Bay, minutes before the stores opened. I was shocked as people were already there waiting. As I approached a grumpy man in line asked me “Are you’re here for the Dyson?" Quietly I answered “Yes I am." He replied “Well your number 29 in line as we have been waiting here for an hour and we were here before you." I giggle and just knew this was going to be interesting! Two minutes later an employee from the Bay came to the door, unlocked it and says “For the people who are here for the Dyson, please go to the appliance department in which you will get a ticket with a number on it. We only have 100 in stock and it is first come first serve. You cannot buy one without a numbered ticket.” The doors opened, I let everyone go in and then I casually stroll in myself. I look to the right, I look to the left, then straight ahead ... I was in complete shock from what I was seeing!!! There were swarms of people from 3 other entrances running to the appliance department!!! Never in a million years would you EVER catch me running to buy something (but) then my subconscious voice yelled out at me “RUN IT’S A GREAT DEAL!!!” So joined the masses and I ran. I got to the appliance department huffing and puffing and held out my shaking hand, I was number 42!!! YES!!! As my number was called I walked to the cash, paid for the item and then was escorted to the back of the store in which I had to present my receipt again to finally be handed my purchase. As I carried a HUGE box out to my car I was giggling like a school kid behind it and I had a grin on my face from ear to ear. I am still SO excited as I bought a Dyson DC23 vacuum, which sold out within 2 minutes. Regular price $599.99 on sale for $379.99 savings whopping $220.00 … and yes I ran!!! lol Merry Christmas To:Me From:Me!!!

Makes me glad I have hardwood floors for the most part!
Good for you, I've heard those are great especially if you have pets.
For my hard floors I have a Roomba, which was my vacuum splurge. It's ideal for our purposes, sweeps up all the dust, although it hasn't been charging well lately.
