This is what I recommend people NOT doing....handing over a stack of cards...........guaranteed to raise the ire of store managers & make the store more "hyper-vigilant" on the "one card per customer" clause...(this was the fiasco at the last 'big' promo....people showing up with multiple pre-scratched $100 cards, and demanding to use all of them; managers across Canada quickly posted signs at the tills, emphasizing the "one card per customer" rule.)

Last Christmas, the cards didn't say "one per customer"......so I redeemed more than one card for the chocolates, but I paid for my "free" chocolate by buying a tin of catfood (.46 & .06 tax) with each card, at separate tills.

I recommend those who plan to redeem more than one card use discretion, and do the same.

As for the words "No Purchase Necessary", it means you get the scratch card without purchase (most stores won't have them though & will tell you to check your newspaper), but you have to make a purchase to redeem it.

If my store will allow me to use a whole bunch at once despite what it says on the back I don't see a issue with this whatsoever. There is one certain store who will allow me and then there is another store in another town that absolutely will not, call the police have you arrested, tackle you to the ground no way can you use 2 within the same weekend. So its really to the stores discretion.

I also think its to the stores discretion as to the "no purchase necessary". I've never been told I have to buy something to get the "loser" prize. I've just handed over my card and they hand over the prize. I can't count how many employees have done this so again, to the stores discretion.

A stack of them left in our lobby today. Only one with a non-Lindt UPC. Ending in 154. I'm guessing that's the $10! It was hilarious, I kept scratching UPCs with 162 and then the last one had the different UPC...and it was the one that was in my mailbox. Rummaged through the recycling for no reason lol.

Was nothing in the flyer for me. A few toys for those of you with kids. The only cleaning products n such was a jumbo sized Tide for $9.99. Camera is with DH out of town so sorry guys!

interesting that two stores in your town have significantly different policies......enjoy shopping at your store

I posted to offer a measured response.......your store that generously allows multiple cards is a rarity, and certainly not the norm...
there's always lots of new frugal people on this site.....newbies thinking that handing over a 'stack of cards' is the 'normal' way to use this promo....not a great idea.

If anyone needs the Lindt ones I have loads and can do fast trades in Toronto (or in person if you want). I can't eat chocolate, my DH doesn't like it, and we and haven't given away the 8 bars from the cadbury promo so we don't need more choc!

That's too bad. Keep calling the paper when you are missing something.
Ex always gives me the flyer after he skims them. One week, when there was a scratch card or SmartSource, no flyers at all!
He called to complain. (needs to keep me happy)
The next week: Paperboy knocks on the door to hand deliver! And took his son's name who answered the door.

Its actually two stores in two different towns. LOL my town is way too small for two CT! There is one in one town that says no, then there is another one in a different town that allows multiples and one in another town that allows multiples. So I usually go to about 3 CT in 3 different towns per promo as I tend to get a lot of extra cards.

I agree that new people shouldn't be thinking that it is okay, and expect that they should be allowed to do it but I'm not a newb Its kinda like the Zantac coupons. It does say one per person but its hardly inforced.

Anywho, good luck with your shopping this weekend!
