had to laugh about todays gift. hubby made a guess when he set it out for me that it was a box of chocolate. (and yes tom hanks voice just said that in my head). well i opened it this morning.. and the first thing i saw was 'open here' at the end.. hmm?? interesting. so i unwrapped the rest and it was a 'The buddy sampler'.. OMG lol this is so freakin cute and ingenious. a sampler specifically made for me. way too cool. its in a P&G box but has 2 tide pods packets, 2 brookside chocolate bags, a car refresher.. so when i FINALLY get my car back and fixed it'll smell good, sample sizes of tressemme (WAY too cute never seen this size ever) and a scope sampler, as well as a little cloth reusable bag ITS going in my purse. the big black ones are way too big. seriously this was the most creative gift i've ever seen. take that P&G ! thanks Shell!

I shrink my photos in Paint. Just open Paint, open the pic, then choose resize, I usually do 25% (you don't have to put the % in, just change the 100 to 25) and they are usually a good size, then save as. If you save you shink the regular photo which you may need big to print off or something, so I always save as and rename the photo. That's how I do it, may be an easier way of course.

ok go to the place you chose your photo from....
when you right click it will have a little list and one option is "OPEN WITH" when you hover over that it will give options.....pick "PAINT" at the top right click re-size....my numbers always show 100 x 100 I just remove a 0 from each one and save...

I need to pick some brains.... Staff Christmas party on Saturday. I need to bring a white elephant gift in the 25.00 range. I work with six people. Five of them are serious rednecks. Bath stuff or candles or anything girly would not be appreciated. Anything Christmassy would not be appreciated. With the exception of my boss, none of them are readers or artsy. I prefer not to give alcohol because that is what everyone else is giving. Ideas??????
Check out the quirk wall at chapters or hmv's books. They have some seriously funny books that would be enjoyable by anyone with a sense of humor. Don got a book last year tyrough his work exchange...something about punching a dolphin in the nose...it gets people laughing all the time.
