Voting ends today at 12:00 EST, so only 2 and a half hours left. I know this Smart Canuck Community is strong and love to help each other out in any way we can.

well, i went to the cupboard where all the gifts are being kept......there were 2 for today (labelled 12) but none (labelled 13) for tomorrow, so i picked only one and opened it!! it was a package of moon dough. devin will be so excited when he comes home from school. it will keep him busy while i get supper ready today as we will have to be out the door for about 6 for his Christmas concert.

Today's gift .... latex gloves in size SMALL!!!! There's the beauty of having an SC buddy who lives in a different community.. EVERY Flippin store around me only carries M/L or One Size fits all... Ummm, sorry One Size does not fit all when your hands are the size of a child's!

Thanks Juliejolie, my fingernails thank you as they are more likely to survive housecleaning now...

(P.S. Took a photo of all my gifts thus far and will post tonight when I get back home... however, I somehow have misplaced one, and for the life of me, can't remember which one! Will have to look at my own posts to see what's missing, lol!)

Testing, testing! I got a new phone yesterday! My Xmas gift to myself was a new galaxys3 because my BB kept ting itself and there were no fixes for it other than wiping my phone. And tekus had a great sale on them right now. The guy saidvit will be going back up in price from the current $49. So far so good! The tapatalk app is way better than the bb one and it looks like I'l be able to post pics w it! Score! Here's our first Santa pic. She'd just woken up lol. Sorry I'd the pic is HUGE!!!

My lovely gifts for today! A butter dish for me so happy!!! and Jackson got some playdoh which made him giggle. Which was nice, since his tummy has not been happy. Hopefully it holds up today as we'd like to go see Santa tonight after daycare.

Day 12-12-12 brought me my DH favorite Blistex lipchap in the pink jar, DH loves his lip care and a Cadbury Turk bar I know I love all chocolate but these are my favorite of all chocolate bars.

Ok - pic resizing a la lizardqueen!

I am assuming you are using some version of Windows - I have Windows 7 so I hope this is the same for all versions!

1. open the folder that you have saved the photos in
2. Select photo you want to resize - DON'T DOUBLE CLICK! Just click on it once -mine get a blue square around them
3. Right click on the Photo - that should show a list of options (save copy etc)
4. Pick Edit from that menu - it will open your photo for you
5. Once that photo is open you will see an option to resize (on the menu bar near the left side)
6. When you click resize it will open a pop up with the things you can change - I changed it from 100 to 10 (just delete a zero)
7. Save

OMG Seriously Gwennad's buddy WHERE did you find that butter dish.. the only ones i could find were for the old fashioned 'stick' of butter.. nothing for the current size.. i looked everywhere for my buddy!

I think I scored!!! I was on my way to work, flipping through the free Metro newspaper today when I spot a coupon... not just any coupon but a $2 Covergirl, good on any ONE product coupon with an expiry date of March 31/13!!!

I must have looked like a crazy person quickly ripping out the coupons off of any Metro newspaper I saw on the bus... then when I came to work, there was a box full of them at the entrance to our clinic.... so I grabbed all of them... these are free newspapers we get in the Greater Toronto Area and they are often found strewn across seats on buses, on the floor, so why not salvage a few? I left the rest of the newspapers in our clinic waiting room for patients to read.

I hurried back into my office, dodging patients, closed my door and proceeded to cut the coupons out feverishly.

I'm so thankful for all of you wonderful ladies in here, there is so much generosity and support. I've been having a rough couple of days here and sat down this morning to watch some PVR'd tv...Parenthood was far too emotional for me today so onto Private Practice and it was about a pedophile...TOO MUCH for this morning. We have a pedophile in our neighborhood so it has been a touch subject and one of my son's little friends just had a relapse scare with his cancer..THANK GOD he is ok but it just brings so much up. I just don't have time to be in a funk with Christmas coming so I came in here and you are all so wonderful. You all motivated me to throw on some Aerosmith, crank it up and carry on with my day. Got a ton of baking done this morning. Mini buddy I think you will be happy. Thank you to each and every one of you for being there this morning
