Day 12 are the coolest little football oreo cookies and a Pillsbury towel for the boy, again he is beyond excited about how special his package has been. Thank you Jezebel. for me some foot soak...YAY I was just saying yesterday I am in need of a pedicure, I'll give one to myself and have pretty feet for Christmas..thank you Melissa!!

I think I scored!!! I was on my way to work, flipping through the free Metro newspaper today when I spot a coupon... not just any coupon but a $2 Covergirl, good on any ONE product coupon with an expiry date of March 31/13!!!

I must have looked like a crazy person quickly ripping out the coupons off of any Metro newspaper I saw on the bus... then when I came to work, there was a box full of them at the entrance to our clinic.... so I grabbed all of them... these are free newspapers we get in the Greater Toronto Area and they are often found strewn across seats on buses, on the floor, so why not salvage a few? I left the rest of the newspapers in our clinic waiting room for patients to read.

I hurried back into my office, dodging patients, closed my door and proceeded to cut the coupons out feverishly.

I do the same thing when I sit at my doctors or dentists and see a magazine that is a few months old but still has a coupon...ie. 1.50 off wheat thins?!?!!? sneakily try to get it out. haha. I know each metro is different depending on the city so I wonder if the vancouver one has it.

I'm so thankful for all of you wonderful ladies in here, there is so much generosity and support. I've been having a rough couple of days here and sat down this morning to watch some PVR'd tv...Parenthood was far too emotional for me today so onto Private Practice and it was about a pedophile...TOO MUCH for this morning. We have a pedophile in our neighborhood so it has been a touch subject and one of my son's little friends just had a relapse scare with his cancer..THANK GOD he is ok but it just brings so much up. I just don't have time to be in a funk with Christmas coming so I came in here and you are all so wonderful. You all motivated me to throw on some Aerosmith, crank it up and carry on with my day. Got a ton of baking done this morning. Mini buddy I think you will be happy. Thank you to each and every one of you for being there this morning

Ah Slam, I am so glad your son's friend is okay Cancer is hateful. The pain and fear you have gone through with your son you are a tough lady . My heart goes out to you

dlee, check your Metro! It was on page 32 or 33 here... and its part of a huge Covergirl ad, in the right hand corner. Last week, I found a coupon for $1.50 any Febreze product but with an expiry of Dec 31/12 in the Metro newspaper. I grabbed a bunch of those too and am hoping I can find the Set & Refresh or candle jars on sale for under $2 so I can use the coupons before the end of the month.

I know what you mean about the magazines in doctor's offices! I have my own office here, a lot of patients come to me to talk about their cases as I work with automobile accident patients and they bring me coupons sometimes... but when I'm free from seeing patients, I go to our waiting room and raid the Reader's Digest and other magazines to flip through them for coupons... Yea $1.50 Wheat Thins coupons =)

the living room and dining room are painted!! first coat but still!! hubby helped and it turned an all day job for me into easy peasy!!! I just have to do a second coat this evening and some touch ups then can reassemble the room ahhhhh. <my parents arrive in T minus 7 days - gawd!> hubby has gone to work on an evening shift so no more helping hand but now I get more time for the 2nd installment of Christian hubbahubba
