Day 22 brought us some Irish Whiskey Chocolates. Saving these for Christmas day and will take to the inlaws for everyone to enjoy

Morning...

Last night was fun... after the Christmas Party we decided to head on out to Karaoke. Fun, Fun, Fun!!! My hubby can sing his little tush off... me, not at all. BUT, that doesn't stop me.

"I'm sexy and I know it" <-- This might have happened last night. I will not confirm nor deny

Day 22 made me giggle.. I open this bubble wrapped glass bottle and I think to myself "neato.. a new perfume".... so I open it and take a nice whiff. That IS NOT perfume.... This is VODKA! The bottom of the glass said "Skull Head Vodka". DUH!!

And then I giggled outloud 'cause I just sniffed vodka after a night out.

Only me.

I think we are all destined to spend Christmas with a cold by the sounds of this thread Me and my best friend are both still quite sick with it but tonight is our annual Christmas dinner and a movie that we have to schedule months in advance so our hubbies can be well prepared to handle the house while we are gone and we are going sick or not!! LOL We both sound like death but if we miss our night out it won't happen again till next year. Look out Halifax here we come, kleenex and cough drops in hand!

I also received a LOVELY Christmas card and some AWESOME reading from the lovely Melissa13 - I could glare at Charlie Hunnam ALL DAY LONG!!!

Just got off the phone with Purolator (27 min phone call)...
Apparently the weather was so bad in my mini buddies city that they were not able to deliver all of their packages yesterday
It will be Monday before it goes back out.
She told me that "It is not overly warm in the warehouse" when I informed her that there was FOOD in the package.

I did pack the food in freezer bags, so I hope that in combination with the "not overly warm" conditions will allow the treats to stay fresh...

Pumpkin - although it is not much you have to share that Dan Akroyd Skull Vodka with Hubby, I have realized I didn't send anything especially for him and thought this could be a 'him' gift. Glad you had a good night out!

I am waiting *patiently* for dd to get ready, she knew I was going out to do some errands hours ago and decided when I put my coat on that she now wants to go. I am not patient in this type of situation... I am ready to go, I want to go now. I am on a schedule *sort of*.

Day 23 from my Bri was Satsuma Face, Body and Hair dry oil - can't wait to try this! AND Satsuma dry oil Body Spray! I will have a hard time keeping this away from oldest DD, she seems to think anything Satsuma belongs to her. I think I might regift it to myself in my stocking so she sees that its FOR ME

Here is what I sent out to my local friends on FB this morning - you can come too!:
Just throwing this out there, wondering if anyone wants to have an impromptu get together this evening to blow off some steam before the mayhem begins. Let us know and we will unlock our door this evening!
We can watch little Ralphie and get soused and eat some good food. Just bring yourselves and your bottle

It's going to be a day of cleaning and tidying here, if we have people coming over it makes me have to do it.

for day 22 I got a fabulous book "get organized with style" - once the xmas stuff is put away, parental units gone I am going to go room by room and organize/ eliminate / decorate..... sounds like a lot of work for a gal with a gimpy hand. Ah well my two helpers will be working full time (6yr/2yrs) gotta tire them out somehow!
