Got my cineplex passes from the M&M promo today! Yay to 6 free movies (well 3 each for DH and I).

Well it's official. DH leaves bright and early Monday morning.

He has 3 transfers and will be flying all day but he'll at least be at his new job site by around 8pm.

This job will be 14 days on, 7 days off. Better than the 3 weeks on and 1 week off before but still going to suck.

How does his Dad deal with him...or is that the problem?

He's totally different for his Dad... a combination of being an "only child" when he's there, and his dad has a similar personality. The school he goes to is a lot better than it is here. I hate that it has to be this way though

morning all.. well last night i wasnt' feeling well.. head achy body achy.. went to bed. this morning after the weirdest nights sleep.. i got up at 7 as my kids have appts. and if i wasn't taking them they had to take the bus. well at 7am i was hurting.. now after getting to sleep for 2-3 hours straight.. im feelin ok. still waiting to hit that wall.. for now. its quiet.

Tami.. my word hun (hugs) i hate holidays for this reason. it really throws them off... like sticking another plug in an overdrawn outlet.. at least you get a wee break. get yourself some rest, a nice treat and relax. you know where i am if u need me.

Thanks I knew you would understand!!! He had some really good days but once he got used to being here again it all went back to the way it used to be... constant fighting, intentionally hurting his brother and me... just not a happy house around here

Ok, I know each person has their own needs and tastes. Before I move still looking for a few things to finish up my kitchen/dining needs. Any suggestions. Below is what I already have/recently bought lol.

Toaster, try a toaster oven.. combines toaster and oven and if your doing alot of meals for 1 it will save you power and cook things faster (i use my toaster oven atleast once a day... regular oven maybe a few times a week.. suggestion for one.. Cantire onsale baveratti brand often goes on 50% off)
dish drying mat--simple dish cloth (i found the drying racks just suck up space on the counter)
microwave (let your price be your guide)
cutlery
dinnerware set- classic corelle durable and long lasting and won`t look horrid in a year (been using the same set for 9yrs)
pots/pans-again wait for 50-75% off sale, if you can buy a good set.. lagostina are great (often a $600 set will go onsale at cantire for $199
spatulas-
whisk-
box grater- ikea!
couple wooden spoons
can opener
ladle
tongs
scissors..

Well, Christian is gone and the house just seems empty... he has such a huge energy it's like he fills the whole house... and when he leaves it feels so empty Back to the normal routine... it's gonna be hard on all of us.

Awwww, its so hard and I feel so bad for you. When our dear Rosey of 20 years passed on, our dog Matte looked for her for a good month. I still have catfood in my cupboard because I can't seem to part with it...seems so final
