Was feeling down today due to job search problems and DH has to work so went to the Bay to window shop. Came away with ridiculous steals.
Went to The Room, the high end section with stupid prices (like $1000. Nuts.). But there was an extra 30% off clearance, plus an extra 15% off if you used your Bay card (so covers tax) Managed to leave with
Diane Von Furstenburg dress Reg $380!!
Calvin Klein dress reg $149
INC Blazer reg $99
All 3 of these for $202!! An average of $67 each. The DVF dress was not supposed to have an extra 15% but the cashier said she'd give it to me since it was "wrinkled." There were none that I could see
I have never owned a high-end piece of clothing like the Diane Von Furstenburg. She invented the wrap dress, which is what I bought. Looks great. Sent photos to DH and he approved lol. Now if I ever get an interview I will have nice clothes to wearThis thread is currently associated with: The BayLast edited by torontogal12; Sat, Jan 19th, 2013 at 03:45 PM.

Great shopping! I am a veteran high-end clearance shopper at the Bay. Between them and the Jones New York outlet I get all of my work clothes at a good 75%-80% off. I work in a brokerage firm that deals only with high net worth clients, so I have to dress appropriately. I could never afford it at regular price. You will get a lot of use out of the items you bought...and you will enjoy wearing them every time you put them on. The cut, fit and fabric on high end clothes are such a pleasure.
Best of luck with your job hunt! I have my fingers and toes crossed for you.So many coupons....so little time!

I always feel uneasy when the prices for clothing show 3 digits before the period. You got an excellent deal for 60% off the regular price for such high quality clothing. Enjoy your new dresses and blazer, and good luck with your job hunting. Thank you for posting.

YEAHH!!!! A little envious- but in my current life- the wrap dress would only get peed on! LOL!
Are you in TO? (I know your name is Toronto gal- but that doesn't mean that is where you live- so I ask)
I always found ridiculous bargains @ the Queen St store, which was great as I worked in a high end store in Bayview- needed to dress to impress.
Now we just need to get you a job!
ROAK a Huggies or Pampers code to my local pregnancy centre- toys, clothes, food & diapers always needed!

Great deals....yes, that is when I shop too, when they have extra 50% off, you can find except you really have to search for those good deals. On Boxing Day I got a pair of UGGS Kintala boots reg. $355/245/122.50+the nasty taxes!
