Disappointed in Fresh Co. They would not price match to Shoppers Drug, they said only to grocery stores? Anyone else have this experience. Cashier said they do not price match to SDM also do not match to Giant Tiger.

Yes, my Freshco says the same thing. Apparently headoffice will only allow to price match direct competition which is not Shopper's, Rexall, Giant Tiger. I just laughed and told them it will back fire on you when Wal-Mart is a 2 minute drive down the road and they ad match all of them including Canadian Tire and Home Hardware (I love cheap cleaning products and Wal-Mart is better with coupons than Canadian Tire) and Shopper's is less than a 1 minute drive, they are at the other end of the plaza. I think I stunned the girl because she stood there with this shocked look so me being me (ok sometimes I am a smarta**) turned to my mom who was shopping with me and said guess it is time to go back to Wal-Mart for our one stop shopping since it looks like we will still need to go there since I do not go into the Shopper's here anymore other than to get a food flyer so I can price match them else where. My mom just laughed and the girl just stood there with a shocked look like huh.

I used to love shopping at Freshco but since it has become harder and harder to Price Match there (Limiting to 4 like price matches) and since they told me they were going to changing their coupon policy to 1 like coupon per transaction I have gone back to shopping at Wal-Mart. Our Freshco is new (a renovated Price Chopper) it is amazing inside and they offer a great variety but it is not worth the hassel especially when I am looking for a one stop shop (this is why I price match, so I dont have to go to 4 stores) so for this reason I just head to Wal-Mart.

    Limit of 4?
I would just go back a few times during the week.

If it was a local store I might not mind so much but since it is like a 15 minutes drive from home or a 25 minute drive from work if I can not go more than once a week I would be happy.

Same here. I drive by Freshco twice a week while at one work location and just can't stand the hassle of only four items or not certain stores. I also hate PM at No Frills becuase they always want to keep my flyer.

same with my NF but I asked a cashier why is because they have to prove to there head cashier or someone higher up that the price for that item truly exists. But they can write it down on a piece of paper with the date etc but if its questioned they can be written up. I asked another cashier at another location and she told me the same.

I find at times new cashiers need to do this at No Frills. They print a duplicate copy of the receipt and mark on the bill what store the price match was from. If they get asked about it I was told management will go online to look up if it is a valid price, if I ask for my flyer back I have never had an issue.

I do not know if it happened, but I was told in December when I used 5 like coupons that their policy would most likely be changing January 1st to 1 like coupon per transaction. I have never gone back to confirm if this happened as I started to notice more and more I was running into issues shopping there. Limits of 4 Price Matches, getting attitude over Price Matches, having valid coupons being refused because Cashiers would not take the time to read a coupon only look at the picture, Cashiers refusing to a call a manager when I asked for one. We will see what happens when I go in this weekend, mom said she would like to go in when she goes with me tomorrow to do some shopping.

I ended up only picking up Pork Chops at Freshco as mom's back started to bug her. The only signs they have posted are limiting Price Matches, nothing about limiting coupons but since I did not use any not sure as they usually do not post about coupons.

I just asked my Freshco today and they said that there is is no change in their coupon policy. It is still 1 coupon per item but as many as you want. They don't have a problem with price matches either.

The thing I find with WalMart is unless you are price matching, a lot of their prices are not in line with NF and Freshco, etc. You have to be careful and know your prices when shopping at WalMart.
I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.
