The best part about other places opening first is you guys can tell us how everything works. When our spring locations open we will look like pros and have the cashiers wondering what just happened there as we are on our way out the door with savings in hand.

it will be nice to have another mass retailer store to price match and have store stock for good deals (it's a pain when there is only walmart.. and when walmart is sold out of something you either have to go to a grocery store and pay too much or get a raincheck)

^ good riddance to bad rubbish
although, apparently there will be 3 zellers stores still in operation after this is all over. for how long? who knows. it will be interesting to see if they revamp it and make some totally different type of store for those 3 locations, or if they end up closing them later when their individual leases run out. maybe they will turn into HBC/HO clearance stores? In 2020 I had 100 FREE Grocery pickups! I know what you mean - it feels like the end of an era, and though I realize that Zellers was doing pretty bad recently (terrible customer service, run-down stores), I will miss the Zellers I remember from my childhood. Having said that, I drove past the Shoppers World location, which now has the Target logo up and the telltale red exterior, and it made me so incredibly excited. I can't wait to explore Target! I really hope that the customer service, pricing, and wide selection of products mirrors the US Target, which I found incredible - I know there are bound to be some differences because it's a completely different geographical market, but I hope it's not an entirely different set of practices.
