    Sorry for saying this, but how do you pay Bettman $8,000,000 a year to ruin our Canadian game?
    Lawyers have no place in hockey. They only get rich and we the true hockey fans suffer.
    Personal opinion of course !!
    Sorry, maybe I should keep my big mouth shut, but I feel very strongly about this issue.
    My true feelings are that the Canadian teams should break away from the NHL and create their own league including Detroit, Boston, New York and Chicago and say the H*ll with the rest of the current NHL. Now in my opinion that would be good hockey again.
    Of course that is just an old man's opinion and probably does not mean much to any of you.

    I feel like sh*t this evening with a bad head cold and I think I will not be able to make it into work tomorrow based on how I feel today.
    I need a day of rest! However I will be up to our posting challenge tomorrow @ approx 6:18 am
    Many at the Flamboro site are also suffering from the same symptoms that I have.
    I just need some rest and lots of fluids and my nice warm fireplace.

    i agree completely!
    you knew *all* the players and could keep track of them and their stats.
    too many teams, too much dilution of talent.
    i quit paying attention after the expansion.
