I have limited cell service I had to walk approx 1/4 km to get cell service as I am stuck in the ditch

my lil bro is also stuck in the ditch I am ok as is he I am waiting for 2 tow trucks.....sorry for the delay in getting my wishlist in.....

I stopped and had a girl wait for the police in my car today. She flipped her SUV a couple of times and it ended up on its side in a deep ditch. She was in shock and bruised. Super slippery roads.

The roads & sidewalks are super slippery here. Heavy rain yesterday but snow blocking the sewer grates so yesterday the sidewalks were river. Today it's -7 (with windchill of -16) so now the sidewalks are skating rinks. Should be an interesting trip to school... Then off to the indoor playground if my DD even stops whining....

Snow Day here again.

I ended up going in for 1/2 a day yesterday when the weather improved. That's when I came across the girl with her SUV in the ditch. She was so lucky not to have been seriously hurt.

I'm not sure if I'll be attempting to make it in today. It's snowing out. However, it's the wind, visibility and drifting snow that are the problems today. Safe travels to all of you

Weather here is pretty yucky, it was super slippery driving home last night. This morning was not that much better. I am really hating this winter thing! I think my SAD is starting to kick in as much as I'm fighting it, haven't had it much the past few winters but the stress of moving and everything else must be kicking in. However, my little boy woke up this morning DRY. No bottles any more (thank you bottle fairy) and this morning he was dry in his diaper! Crazy. Had to share

1. What is your favorite color of pantaloons? Black
2. What is your second favorite color of pantaloons? Blues or jewel tones (no green, yellow, orange or white please!)
3. If you could describe yourself as a flavour/scent which would be? Lime verbena (or coffee since I drink so much of it that I actually smell of it sometimes! Lol)
4. Are your pantaloons all about comfort or style? Comfortable but cute
5. Do you have a dedicated laundry room/area? Does it have a theme? Or do you use a shared laundry area? We have a dedicated laundry ‘room’ in the basement. No theme, other than ‘unfinished’
6. Most wished for item? Bernat cotton for my knitting or a downy ball...I think - I'll keep thinking about this!
7. Favourite style of pantaloons? Definitely bikini or thong (if seamless)
8. Painting from slambert? 'Bathroom rules'...I'll try to find a picture
9. Buddy - If you could pick 3 things, a) $10 and under, b) $5 and under, c) $3ish, what would it be? $10 = Downy ball, TCP sleeper for Alexa, key chain for my car key; $5 = Timmies or Starbucks GC, knitting stitch markers (can be found with all the knitting needles or there are some really cool ones on Etsy), flip flops (size 10) in 'basic' colours, teals or blues;$3ish = cotton for knitting ($2 at Michaels/Walmart), peanut M&Ms (My vice!!)
10. If my buddy sews, I'd love...A taggie blankie for bunny (like maybe a foot by a foot. This is on my Pinterest wishlist). The denim blanket you posted on the last train looked awesome too for playing in the park or stuff with munchkin. Or, cushion covers (if they're standard sized and I can get the forms at somewhere like IKEA or something). I'd love a great teal colour/pattern or something jewel coloured (sofa is kinda a light brown/taupe, and furniture is espresso brown).
11. How would you rate your sense of humour? EX.more laid back and i might giggle, or laugh and show everyone, or completely warped and find even just about anything funny? I am trying to gauge if my one idea is OK or I would make you uncomfortable....... even though we are on a Pantaloon train and sending complete stranger s a pair or 2 or more of scivvies, which is totally warped in itself: Pretty warped...I don't think I'd be uncomfortable since I'd be opening the package in private, plus when posting pics on here....well, all of us on here are a little 'warped' at times me thinks!
12. if you could have one word that describes you...on your pantaloons, what would that word be?
13. Something from the Body Shop? Ummm...I have a shopping addiction to there so am pretty well stocked
14. Pantaloon craft, or bedazzled pantaloons? Either is good with me! I'd probably be more likely to wear the bedazzled pantaloons if they're comfy/fit etc, but I'd be happy to see what my buddy crafts up for me!
15. Something from the States? Uhhh....nothing comes to mind at the moment.

17. phone type? White Samsung Galaxy S3
18. Kitchen colour(s): white (and not the good kind it's a rental so we're using tea towels etc to dress it up for now...blues, teals etc.
19. Books: I like most types. Not smut though or historical fiction. Authors I enjoy that I don't have many books of are Dean Koontz (I read like the first 2 of the Odd Thomas series), Michael Crighton (totally spelled the last name wrong).....ummm....I'll keep thinking
20. pantaloon fabric - stretch cotton or microfiber....no nylon or silky satiny stuff for me please.
21. postage stamp mailbox? No thanks...I used to have one that I loved but now I get books of stamps and most of my stamps from trading and/or trains so not many rolls happening any time soon
22. Bathroom themes? Alexa's = rubber duckies. Navy towels, white shower curtain. Powder room = teals/tan/white. Master bath = beige/natural colours. All are white tile and walls, with chrome/clear plastic accessories

Stuff I forgot to put on my WL:
- All bedazzling aside, I really do need pantaloons. I love the thongs/undies that La Senza has with the stretch lace bands (soooo comfortable) and I've recently had some success with the Joe Fresh bikinis
- if you happen to come across any unique costume type 'props' that would be funny in a photo booth, I'd love some! We're doing a 'photo booth' at our wedding and I think the props make all the difference!
- Saw at Walmart today, in the gardening section, these sets of gardening tools (3 piece for $9.9x)...they come in tourquoise or pink handles...I'd love a set. Or the flower cutting scissor things they have that match for $5
- 'Painting Canvas' squares for a craft project I want to make with Alexa. Either 2 or 3 would be great, dollar store is perfect! Like 8" squares or something?
- safety plug cover things (I reckon I should do a little baby proofing soon so those things that stop kids from electrocuting themselves would be a good start)
- microwave safe plastic bowls for feeding Munchkin (with lids would be ideal)

Home from WM, no advil nightime, didn't think there would be but I had to satisfy my curiousity. I kind of want to keep the $4 coupons to jack up 20x at SDM if they coincide again at 3.99. So I was bummed. Bought meself a swiffer wet jet finally.... guess now I have to use it. lol Going to make a big pot of chili for supper.... hopefully some left to freeze this time.
