I am curious about the chicken. I buy this all the time. But the packages do vary with how big the breasts in it are. It looks like its a good deal but without a $ per weight I'm not sure. If anyone has bought it today could you let me know. Thanks

I see Staples has gone into AirMiles big time. Remember to only buy there if the bonus adds value.

Also, I believe the base at Staples is 1AM/$30 which is pretty lousy.

Also, don't forget this weekend is a 25/50AM bonus on a $50 purchase at Shell. I will likely buy $20 gas + $30 Odeon GC.

I took a look this morning and all the packages were 900g which would make them about $6/lb.

I asked about the chicken and the meat lady said she couldn't tell me the price per lb. I said why not? She had no answer. Just that they don't like it either. She went and weighed it and said if they priced it for what they were selling the other breasts for it would be $18.45 instead of $12. Well that didn't help as I would not pay $18 something for a pack of chicken. I wait until it is $4.99/lb.
So I bought other items. Spent $106 and got 340 AM's. So I am finished collecting for Disneyland and will cash out what I have. If there are still things in the coming weeks I will buy but save those AM's for a different trip. It feels good to have collected so much!!Thanks everyone for all your help.

    Sheesh! How 'bout that!

Buffy needed a new lap top so we bought one yesterday at Staples (easier that driving 15 miles to Costco).

The Airmiles are already in our account! That was fast.

No we didn't buy one with bonus AMs attached but we did pick up the 5Xs base special which worked out to 1 AM/$8.

    On another topic:

Buffy bought some of the chicken today. Worked out to $6/lb. This was for skinless/boneless. Buffy said this was a good price and we looked at a package of the same non-special which was around $9.50/lb.

You can take the chicken to the produce section of the store and weigh it there.

    Mine showed the weight.

    They were all around 907 - 918g (roughly 2lbs as 454g = 1lb).
