just wanted to thank everyone for all their great posts, I'm learning lots from you. Still need to work on collecting coupons to maximize my savings.

I am wondering if I got the 200AM from the last BMO offer. It says that only one offer per airmiles member, do you think if I tried again a few more times that it would allow me to still redeem the airmiles?

The great thing about the BMO certificates is that you can redeem them instantly, do you think the computer would block me? Any thoughts or advice before I make a few appointments, I am trying to get enough airmiles for a car rental for the end of December. I've recently earned quite a few airmiles through shopping at Safeway and using my Amex, but I don't know if they will show up in time.

Finally, when renting a car via airmiles, is that dependent on car availability? I was checking online through car rental sites and they said no cars were available during my dates.

Don't know about car rentals but I never book hotels through Airmiles. I get the gift card instead which is equivalent to cash and covers taxes, etc. that direct booking might not.

As to your other queries I'm not sure. Can't hurt for trying though.

Hey now cheeks...went to my "interview" today--had no problem getting the 300AM, but I knew more than the investment professional...ah well for 30$ of AM is was worth the 1/2 hour. But OB, as a BMO shareholder, they seem to be spending a lot of money trying to poach clients. Anyhow, then hit Safeway, cleaned them out of selected frozen foods, coffee, and 2 for 1 detergent, spent 210$, got 910AM...so 1210 AM in one day--a new personal record . Told the cashier there--that's it for this year!!!

Just got back from safeway. Both airmiles coupons are going through. They both have the same upc code, so you get 400 when you spend $200. This was at the Stony Plain location, Alberta.

Did the cashier scan both coupons or just the 300AM one?

SM, the new Safeway at New Westminster skytrain's B100G250 airmiles promotion is still on. Have been going on since november last year.
