Nothing to feel bad about with that at all.
I was busy with school until I was 23.......it happens when the time is right.
Plus, you will have so much more to give to a relationship being more mature.Love like crazy everyday and smile.

You just took one path of many... nothing to feel bad about, it's just different.
After I got my first degree when I was 20, I had to go out into the workforce simply to make money. The position didn't relate to my education, but that didn't matter, I had to support myself. I worked two years, then went back for my second degree, then worked again.
As for dating, that totally depends upon the type of person one is.
I can see the difference with my son and some of his friends. My son is now 21, and only dated one girl for a year when he was in Grade 12. He goes out with friends, lots of them girls, but I can see him being the type of man who will only really choose seriously if he finds someone he wants to date.
My only advice to you is to find some time to socialize - that broadens your horizons!

Well, I was 27 the first time a boy so much as kissed me in a less-than-chaste way. By that point, I was working on career #2, which had nothing whatsoever to do with what I studied in university.
The best thing I did in my 20s was explore the world around me. I went travelling, explored my city like a tourist (seeing it with new eyes), tried new things (fun courses, new restaurants), did volunteer work, met all sorts of people (some famous, some not so much). I had fun! Not to say that I was irresponsible (I'm the type that can't really ever throw caution to the wind, I'm too responsible), I always had a job, all bills were paid, but I managed to find time to do things that would expand my horizons.
And while my life is very far removed from what I ever dreamed it would be, I wouldn't change any of it (that would make me a whole other person).
Don't think about what you *should* do, concentrate on what you *want* to do. Then you can find yourself and everything will fall into place.

^ alas, that is something we usually only find the inner strength to do when we have gained maturity with age

hindsight is 20/20

gryph, it may feel like it sucks to not have done as much as maybe some of your peers, but i know there are good reasons as to why you have/have not done certain things in your life to this point.
trust me, there will be a point where you look back and are thankful for how certain things unfolded. not absolutely everything, but some things
25 might feel old, but really it's not. in your 20's you feel like every year that passes is going to put you back a decade in terms of your future.
you will hit a point in where you realize that the numbers don't mean a darn thing. In 2020 I had 100 FREE Grocery pickups! Subscribe to PC Optimum Insiders & get 25,000 PC Optimum pts
