i don't give a damn how many pounds you gained or what you made for dinner
or how much you worked out or your undying love for your dog
are these people that narcissistic or lonely?
i don't even bother to like or comment their pathetic status updates
you would think they would get the hint
i no longer posts any updates
if someone wants to converse with me, they can pickup the phone
or email me, instead of posting on the wall of FB for everyone to seeThis thread is currently associated with: N/AYou can't change other people. You can only change yourself"

I go on FB to see pics of my niece and nephew. But at the same time my SIL posts some of the most random things. One day it was just a picture of peanuts her and my brother ate. Really? peanuts? And if I hide her from my New Feed then I miss all the pics of the kids....hmmm what to do, what to do.
She also posted a picture of a relative's grave stone which I thought was weird.Last edited by cheapNcheeky; Thu, Mar 21st, 2013 at 01:44 PM.

An old friend of mine who I don`t speak to anymore (not because of this, but did go in hand with being annoying as hell) would ALWAYS post the following on facebook. Every. Damn. Day.
Ughhh I`m so tired
Ughh so irritated
soooo hungry
its monday already uggghh
ughhhh
uuuuggghhh
ohhhhh im soo sore
uggghghh hurting everywhere
ugggh
And nobody would respond. Ever. Not sure if thats what she was aiming for but you get the idea.

sooo question lol
why do you have facebook if you hate seeing all your friends updates/photos etc?
Im sorry but honestly what do you expect facebook is supposed to be like?
a blank wall?
The idea is to share how you feel, what your doing, posting pictures is it not?
I dont know about you but i love seeing what my friends are up to.
and if i have annoying friends that post photos that bother me, or fill my newsfeed, i click ''hide from newsfeed'' and voila!
problem solved. lolLast edited by c_mcarthur; Thu, Mar 21st, 2013 at 12:42 PM.

I enjoy seeing updates from my friends and family, However, I absolutely HATE seeing people air their dirty laundry as a status.
Even worse: posting contradicting status updates about said dirty laundry...
Day 1: "My husband is the greatest man ever". Marital status: Married
Day 2: "Just because I married you doesn't mean I can't divorce you". Marital Status: Married
Day 3: "One day I won't be here and you'll know how good you had it". Marital Status: Its Complicated
Day 4: "I'm Done.". Marital Status: Single
Day 5: "I love you so much, you are the most amazing husband a wife could ask for". Martial Status: Married
Really?... like, really? Is this necessary? Poor Husband... LOL!

It's those horrible I love my husband/daughter/son/sister/mother/brother gluge-dropping that try to guilt you into re-posting them otherwise you are a selfish b!tch who doesn't love any-one...
Not to mention the fake Amber Alerts that clog up my newsfeeds...I've ended up posting
Thankfully, it's a hoax link
IT COULD BR TURE!!111!!!!
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

this thread made me chuckle
that is pretty much what everyone on fb does! i mean yes some people overshare but it's also their right to!
i'm the queen of gushing about my DH and it always surprises me when I get 20+ likes ... people like to celebrate other's happiness, accomplishments, creations, etc... at least on my list they do!Last edited by itsjustmebub; Thu, Mar 21st, 2013 at 01:45 PM.

maybe i missed something but you've made it sound like everyone's fb status is directed specifically at you. people won't get the hint if you don't "like" their posts because they post for the masses not just you.
i'm sure if people wanted to talk to you alone they'd email or call, that makes much more sense.
