Sometimes you CAN'T avoid the person as they are VERY close to you...then you start sinking into insanity! My person is the equivalent of a mil...honestly. But she's my OWN mother. She lives about 8 minutes away and drops in when she feels like it She gives her "advice" like there's no tomorrow and when she's around everyone is super stressed out - my husband and kids and especially me. So yea...I can relate! Oh wow, guess who's calling.....

Don't get me wrong...I love my mom to bits...she just hits a nerve with everyone in my home with her meddling and criticisms. For example...if she comes over and sees a dish or 2 in the sink...o my..you have dishes to do...if the kitchen is spotless...WOW, your kitchen is ACTUALLY clean today...(Really? it always is). GRRRR!!

I don't envy your position either. I have a friend that worked as a nurse and she experienced many cases where children needed to be apprehended. Just think that you are doing it for the child's sake - don't worry about the parents' feelings etc. You could be saving the baby's life.

You have a very difficult job.
I believe you always have to think about the childs well being first.

thanks for the support ladies! I know it's the right thing, just need to focus on the kids and that I am protecting them from getting hurt.

Evening ladies!

Had a busy day off cleaning & cooking! 6 loads of laundry, tons of dishes, 1 bathroom, vacuuming, general tidying & 1 lasagna made! I'm tired, now for one coupons & baileys

Dlee, I honestly can't imagine how hard your job is, and you deserve a medal for the difference you will make in these kids lives.

I have thick, curly, frizzy hair.... And I found my perfect solution.... I don't wash my hair.... I know it sound weird but I only use a conditioner that doesnt have any silicone... This is what creates a build up on your hair. I use live clean conditioner and really work it into my roots giving myself a scalp message then I rinse, if my hair needs an extra boost, I use live clean damage therapy restoring spray. If I do use a product that contains silcone I use a sulfate free shampoo to remove the buildup. This doesn't work for every hair type, but I know that it works well for most people with curly frizzy hair.


I am also beginning to think that spring has been canceled this year...... We have snow again.... When will it ever end

i also use Live Clean. I like how it doesn't feel heavy in my hair (probably lack of buildup)

We had snow today too. Thursday was 25, and yesterday was horrible and rainy and then 18 and gorgeous in the afternoon. So weird. We went to Alexa's first TFC game today. She was nice and toasty, but my MIL is visiting and was stressing me the hell out so we keft Don and his sister and her bf at the game. I couldn't handle the friggin stress!

I have now started my second dishcloth this book the Shkyle got me is a huge help and it has a DVD too.

Oh Slam, they are cute at this age but just wait till they get big...... The destroy everything and then you will start craving bacon, ham and pork hops, and start calling them by those names too

Lol I have a friend who has some baby potbelly's that need new homes I can create some packages to a couple of you :D

I grew up on a pig farm, so I have a soft spot for them. I had a 300 lb sow for a pet for years. She would follow me around the barn as I did chores and always nosed in my pockets for treats, almost had her train to shake a hoof, but that might have been my imagination

Only 44 hours and 39 minutes until she leaves. Dh and MIL just had it out while I went to fold laundry in the basement because I was too angry to speak. I apparently said I had to go to the laundry to basement fold. Lol. Now I'm upstairs with Alexa and I can hear the step-MIL on the phone going on about how she's so mad. Excuse me, you're in my house, have some respect or get the F out.

Wow I think you just described mY mum! Everytime she comes by to visit or help with DD I feel more stress more stressed after she leaves than before she arrived, sigh.
