I agree with you completely, that's a big no no in my book.
Could you find it in your heart to help out a single mother in need. Any donation would be forever appreciated. If you could share the page through the link that would be wonderful too! Thanks so much.

I agree.....I'd love to have seen a limit of six on the toothbrushes, toothpaste and some of the other items people are having a hard time getting this week. Personally, I think those who agree should start phoning or e-mailing Walmart corporate office and expressing our displeasure.
So many coupons....so little time!

That's a loaded question. It all depends if you got all of these at the same place on the same day or if you spread it out over several days etc. You need to provide detail before asking that kind of question.
This haul could have been split between 10 people for all we know.

What does couponing/shopping have to do with ethics & values? Have read about this topic time and time again on SC & truly don't get it... becoming such a bore. Why do so many have their knickers in a knot worrying over what others are doing? Who cares. This is shopping after all, it isn't wartime... so there isn't any rashioning...we are all grown ups with our own minds to decide what we want to do, we live in a democratic society so if it is for sale darn it then buy buy buy what you want to... within coupon/store restrictions of course. Oh the freedom of shopping without guilt and not looking over your shoulder. Many a time I have come upon a cleared shelf... maybe next time, maybe not...such is life. SmartConsumer thanks for lightening this post up. Loved your pile of Greenworks... well done you!

I wish they would actually limit items that state "ONE PER CUSTOMER" on the coupon. Tired of seeing brags about misuse of coupons with the restrictive wording and people congratulating them. Shelf clearing, well that depends on what's on the shelf. If there are only 6 and you have 6 coupons, go for it. There's 20 on the shelf, depends on if the coupons will expire shortly or if I think I will have time to go to another store or come back another day. Maybe I take 10, maybe I take all 20 now. If there are 100+ on the shelf, well maybe you take 50 if you have 50 coupons, but for me I would not be comfortable with a cart full of one product and tons of the same coupon. I would have to do it over multiple trips. Again, only IF the coupon did not state ONE PER CUSTOMER.
Looking for FPC for almost everything. Growing teen boy eating me out of house and home. Visit my facebook page www.facebook.com/UneekCreations
Will trade finished product from my Etsy shop.

Amen... I'm sick of seeing brags on this one per customer misuse and others congratulating or encouraging. If the coupon doesn't have limits, then take what you feel your family needs. This blatant misuse is going to ruin couponing for us all in the long run, already we can see values have dropped off significantly.

there really isnt any 'rules' about how you cant clear the shelve. if the store allows it and coupons are used correctly. Theres nothing that can be done..

I think if it's a regular price item in the store, you can buy as many items as you want with your coupons.
HOWEVER, if the store has an item on sale and you want to coupon it, OR you PM an item and use a coupon, then there should be a limit of "X" per day per person. This allows time for others to go to the store and pick up the sale/PM'd item. You can always go back the next day, etc., and pick up more of the same if you have a lot of coupons for the same product.
As for rationing, we may not be in wartime, but for many of us, with reduced work hours or even having lost a job, every little bit of savings counts. It's very frustrating spending Wednesday (many thanks to all the SC's for submitting early flyers online!) & Thursday combing the flyers, matching the coupons, etc., setting up a weekly grocery list and cross-referencing the flyers & coupons, and then going to my grocery store to discover that the shelves have been cleared. Even though I go back to my WM every day throughout the week hoping to pick up an item, my WM doesn't re-stock the shelf during the week that I'm PM & couponing, etc. so I haven't been able to PM & coupon many items every week.
I also don't drive, and the only grocery store that I can walk to with my grocery cart is Walmart. I'm very fortunate that my WM allows me to PM and coupon at the same time, but the shelves are still cleared by Friday morning.
Please people, unless its for your family or to donate, please leave a few items on the shelves, even if you have some coupons left over. Thanks.

Just because the shelf is cleared doesn't mean there is no stock. Many many times, I had to find a stock person and ask if there are any in the back. Always always yes. Might have to wait a little while for him to stock the shelf and I always get what I want. I did this a couple of weeks ago. Oasis refrigerated no pulp OJ (only ones we drink) were on sale and none on the shelf. The guy had to go downstairs to get them. He brought back 2 boxes of 6 each and I took all of them, lol. He had to go back downstairs to get more. Oh well, good exercise for him, lol.

Walmart doesn't set limits because they don't have to. People can complain all they want about sale products not being stocked or shelves being cleared, but Walmart doesn't really care if you were able to buy it or not. They advertise sales to get you into the store and hope you buy other stuff as well. If the sale products are sold out, meh, they've made their money on those items and you're in the store now and will hopefully buy something else. The only way to get Walmart to pay any attention and make changes is for mass amounts of consumers to refuse their awful service and shop elsewhere, but that won't happen because, hey look, they've got another great sale item. If there is one thing Walmart is good at it's knowing customers' habits and manipulating them to get people to shop there again and again and again. Customer satisfaction is second to profits and world domination. Can you tell I'm not a fan of Walmart?
