in highschool i was a big movie freak and was obsessed with all the saw movies. I kept telling my friends we should go together and they were all up for it. i then found out they went without me and i was so angry at them and when i told them they said they went because i was always working. I mean couldnt they wait a day when i wasnt working the movie just came out!!! Neways i think u should be upset they could of given u a heads up when they found out they were going

I have done this loads of times and they were all great times.
I have a wide variety of interests and a bunch of friends who cannot stand each other, so sometimes I just do what suits me. I refuse to miss out on something that I want to do because of others.

I asked some of my friends to go to a work BBQ they said they couldn't because they had too much work to do, so I said ok. then they end up going with out me.
I know they'll say they came to find me, but still, do I have a right to upset?

It's ok to feel upset. We are entitled to our feelings.. Before reacting though perhaps consider whether they just gave it a little more thought and decided to go.. We all change our minds at some point.. it may not be that they wanted to go without you

You need to talk to them and then you all move on as good friends and maybe the friendship will be stronger............
