Thread: Safeway Chestemere... really cheap diapers!!!

    Went to Chestemere yesterday at Safeway and they have the most amazing deal on diapers!!! the biggest box Huggies makes - 174 size 3 per box which is the equivalent of THREE WHOLE MEGA packs are on sale for $21!! They have $3 coupons on them that she scanned, making them $18 a box, plus when I asked if I could use my $2 coupon I had along with the one she scanned she asked the manager and he said sure thing!! I used a $2 coupon making it just $16 per box! Inside there are 3 sleeves and each sleeve is a WHOLE Mega pack! At $16 these cost less than just 1 Mega Pack!

    Works out to $5.50 a mega pack!!

    I bought some too on Friday. Good deal! Plus, they have had a promotion on since January that you get a free case when you buy 7 Huggies. It finishes at the end of June though. Your receipt should say you have purchased X of 7 Huggies towards a free box.

    Wow! Was this an advertised special or a clearance special?

    DS2 is 19 months, and I must still have 20 bags of diapers in the closet... 4 or 5 packs are Huggies Slip-ons, which we can use for toilet training... I'm just not sure how many diapers to buy now... his brother is stubborn and wasn't trained until he was 3 years old, but the little guy is easy-going and is showing great interest in his brother using the toilet. Probably wishful thinking, but I think we're going to capitalize on that interest and put him on the toilet soon! The problem is, I'm not sure when to pick up on a great diaper deal anymore!

    It was an advertised deal!! 3 day sale I do belive it said, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
