I think it depends on how "harsh" their accents are in how it is pronounced pappy or poppy.....some of my aunt's/uncle's would say poppy and my grandpa would call himself pappy.
My dad was #3 oldest of 15 kids. Grew up in New Annan, P.E.I.

ok so I took my kids to chapters to pick up a gift for my buddy, well actually two (hint hint) which was awesome as one kid was TKO the whole time, go to Walmart to knock off the remaining missing gift and guess what I see there with a 40% off sticker on it - the DAMN book I just bought at twice the price at Chapters , so needless to say that is going back tomorrow to repurchase it at Walmart

then I found the remaining gift for my buddy, pay for everything and just before I walked out the door thought to myself that seemed high, yup sure enough my buddies remaining gift scanned in wrong - off to customer service and yes buddy your remaining gift was FREE - kinda made up for the first part

still struggling with the homemade part as it seems to not want to come together - I apologize in advance if you don't like it

Everyone seems to have a plan worked out for the opening prezzie days for their buddy. I am sorry buddy I wasn't that organized! I just bought prezzies and numbered them.
I didn't have any rhyme or reason for the days. I hope that is ok! I wasn't really sure what I was doing......I will do better next time....promise! I am still learning!

I just found two iktes at the Co-Op Gas Bar that my buddy loves that aren't food related!!! Of all places, because it was really hard tracking this item down to begin with. IK now have 3 variations of one of the items my buddy loves YAAAHOOOOOO

Only problem is I will have to figure out how to wrap one of them, it is an odd shape ......

Yep! Fait accompli..

So package is mailed... box is all doctored up to hide the Keurig.. don't want someone at CP walking off with my buddy's gift, thinking they were scooping a free Keurig. Lady at the post office complimented me on my packaging.. i picked up some new packing tape while in the US on the weekend. I'm starting to think this packing tape thing wth me is just like accessorizing with shoes and purses, lol.

Will PM you tracking Slammy, just too lazy at the moment... later tonite or tomorrow for sure. Oh and buddy, supposed to be 3 days... so likely mid next week.

i also used funky packing tape on my buddy's box plus DD decorated it especially for you!

Whew okay buddy wow I'm exhausted but its done both your and Haileys buddy are boxed and ready to go almost like I didn't lose 2 weeks in the hospital lol don't worry buddy your pkg did not suffer any you do have one present each day do not be disappointed the are all very hand picked and some contain more than one thing I wrapped together.

So of course after I finish my homemade gift and buying the item I couldn't find in stores at the second hand store, what do I see today at the Dollarama????? UGH!! Isn't that always the way? Shawshank: papaya tablets, all natural, work wonders. I had the acid reflux terribly when I was pregnant and this was the only thing that worked for me.

Size does not matter, miss! I've seen pictures of what you've sent to your buddies on past trains and you always send great packages! My buddy's package is only a diaper box size but I still feel like I sent her a pretty awesome package and I hope she thinks so too! Excited for her to get it next week

Meshell - cowgirlmama probably meant you're really girly in relation to her hold on to your horses though, you're about to get spoiled. She sent to me for the Xmas train and instead of sending 25 gifts, she sent 50! I was totally excited because Alexa was so young and CGM hsd been shopping during my pregnancy (and labour! ). I received a Rubbermaid tote with all the goodies in it. I think she likes her "little buddies" to be SUPER little and fresh when are you due again?

I've been told two different due dates.....July 12th and July 15th....so whoknows?! I had Jackson a week early, so I'm hoping for the same with Baby2. We're supposed to get a heatwave next week here...ugh, my phone says its supposed to be 39 here on Tuesday! It wouldn't surprise me to go into labour during a heat wave. lol My bet is next weekend though. But then again, I guess really I could go into labour any day now. Lately, I've been having feelings/sensations where I think maybe contractions might start up, but then I go to bed and it's fine..... lol My package box is now sitting in our bedroom beside my hospital bag....in case I need to grab some prezzies to take with me..... lol (there's an envelope to be opened once Baby2 is born...so that one definitely needs to come with me to the hospital!!) :D

That's totally fine! I didn't really have a plan this time either. Certain items that are similar I spaced out over the days, but other than that, it was just kinda whatever number I felt like putting on them while wrapping. hehe

I forgot to mention that in my package, the "open me now" card had a big stack of coupons in it!! Plus some great samples Thanks cowgirlmama! Also, I received an envie today from BrandPower and I was selected to try out the flavoured tunas, so I got a FPC with it! Woohoo!

Anyways, me super tired, need to go to bed. Gnite everyone, have a good & safe long weekend!

I had no plan just wrapped and then numbered them after feeling to try and remember which item was which.....

today was a long day I have just arrived home,,,,,,off to bed will be mailing hopefully in the morning
