Ugh. I'm pretty sure I had that one. Hope you get well soon.
That cold was horrible for me and felt like the symptom-a-day cold. One day, I'd have a sore throat, second day I'd have congestion, third day came the coughing, fourth day lost voice, fifth day lost sleep because of congestion and coughing.... The worst part was that it took three weeks to get rid of.
I'm sorry to hear you're sick and I hope you have a much stronger immune system than mine.
If you have the time, I'd recommend seeing the doctor. He can't make it any worse and could probably suggest something to relieve your symptoms. At that point, I was willing to do anything to make the symptoms better.

Morning All. It`s a rainy day here but on the bright side it has cooled off some.
Have to make potato salad for the pig roast tomorrow. May do a bit of shopping later...depends how lazy I feel.
MaddensMomma, I hope you feel better soon. Summer colds are the worst.

Thanks for the advice everyone. A friend of mine also convinced me to go to the walk-in as I'm home from work today anyways and it may be hard to get in over the long weekend to see a doctor.
Walk in doctor took one look down my throat and said yep, strep throat, very infected. So I'm on anti-biotics, tylenol for pain and lots of rest.

WOW this is becoming on frustrating day, looks like all of my customers waited until the last minute to order and are now either extremely low on product or are completely out. Production is also backed up so if we do not have stock on the floor it will be a few days and even if I have product on the floor and ship right away you have to allow for time in transit and boarding crossing which I have no control over.
I want to go home to bed, but instead I will now start working on a labels for a 2000 customer mail out.

I have seem to have lost my frugal mojo lately. Too much eating out lately, so run down and exhausted. Completely blew our eating out budget but managed to stay within our grocery budget of $125 for the month.
My goal for today and tomorrow is NO eating out. I will throw a freezer lasagna in the oven for ds and I tonight and DH can have his deep fried sizzlers he loves with some fries (yuck!). Tomorrow will be grab whatever for lunch, soup, cheese and crackers... and will probably have pork chops for dinner.
Sunday and Monday we will be at the in-laws and then our new budget starts and I will grab some groceries Tuesday evening.

I hate those last minute requests that come in and had to have been filled yesterday and the accompanying "how soon can you get it to me?" I'm always tempted to say "if you needed it yesterday, it should have been ordered last week". Why should I penalize all the others who are requesting things in a reasonable time frame because you have poor planning skills? And that's why I'd be horrible at customer service.
I'd probably remind everyone of their mother....
You never would have known if you didn't go. Good for you!
How do you do $125 for the month?! I guess I eat a lot.And DH eats expensive stuff, like the cereal he eats exclusively.

When you aren't feeling well is easy to spend on take out since it's easier. You will get back on plan once you are better
I had a bad run of eating out (lunches at work, never dinner or on the weekend since I'm good for planning dinner) but once I planned my shopping better and planning lunches I'm back on the wagon and have tons of $$$ left in my wallet from last fun $ budget
)) Now I want to keep bringing my lunch and save my spending money for something worth wild!
