Happy Canada Day everyone!

Here is a photo of my munchkin in her Canada Day top (best of 20, she has a habit of not looking at camera, lol so frustrating)!

oh & hubby decided that he has had too much to drink today so we are driving home tomorrow morning at 5am....

So Canada day downtown was fun but unfortunately no pics. Went in the morning and scored a free frisbee from goodlife, free spitz from pepsi taste challenge, free candy from Nintendo wii u exhibit, free cheese curds from ontario dairy farmers, lots of free food from PC (cookie ice cream, sausage, new flavoured chips and sparkling drink), maps from via rail and lots of excercise. Was a bit disappointed in the freebies and no coupons but had fun!

Well, had a good weekend, pretty tired though. Hubby had a million things he wanted to get done this weekend, so I had Jackson to myself most of the time and it's a lil exhausting keeping up with a toddler when you're pregnant. Yesterday we took him swimming in my parents pool and he seemed to really enjoy that and it was soooo nice for me to cool off for awhile. Also, I made my first beef stew in the slow cooker yesterday and it was delicious! Been so hot this weekend here, the last thing I wanted to do was cook! Today we took Jackson downtown to see the car show but it was super hot out, so we didn't stay too long. Hubby has to work tonight so me and Jackson just staying in to relax this evening. And no baby this weekend, whew....the last thing I wanted to do was go into labour on a hot long weekend!

Boo I want to join some VWT trains, but won't because what if I go into labour and my envie wasn't mailed, I'd hate to hold up a train. Ah well, I can be more active in my couponing next month when things have settled down a bit.

Sigh.....cowgirlmama, i KNOW there has to be chocolate in my package....two of them feel like chocolate bars and I'm so tempted to open and eat 'em! But I will resist my urges....I just wish I had some good chocolate in the house right now but my freezer stash is all gone!!

MeShell if you absolutely must have, no questions, you might hurt someone to get some chocolate, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if you opened one early. I just wrapped them so that every day you had 2 prezzie's instead of making them open now extra's :D

Hi Ladies,

Canada Day was a day in bed for me. Not feeling good at all. You see, my monthly visitor has arrived. 13 days early. Ya... thrilled.

I did catch up on coupons... but not they relaxing day I had planned. I have had my fill of Tylenol and Aspirin today. (hoping my kidneys and liver forgive me) - lots and lots of water.

I'm already in bed. I feel so crappy that if I wasn't still "new" at my job- I would be calling in- BUT it is the day after a long weekend and that NEVER looks good.

So, set out my big girl panties for tomorrow.

Hope everyone who went outside today to celebrate wore sunscreen.

so, it's so humid in Newfoundland!! My hair is a wreck! I straightened it and an hour later it was a frizz ball!! I told hubby my hair was horrible since I got here and he said "oh it can't be that bad" so i made him this photo pictorial lol! I'm a loser lol!!

Hi All! So tired today. Was organizing my stockpile and getting Matthew ready for his trip. I think we have a couple travel agents or travelers on this train so let me ask. He's going to Cuba - Tryp Cayo Coco on Friday. Has anyone been there? I don't know about buying him extra minutes on his phone or just let him email me from the hotel. Help!!
